Hubby just called. We thought he had 2 weeks off work, turns out he forgot he'd requested an extra week - so he has 3 weeks off! Yay!

If I remember correctly, Kate suggested a memorial page. I don't think that is morbid, I think it is a nice way to remember our friends who have passed.

It is fun being naughty. My mom has been trying for years to keep me out of trouble, but that is the one thing she never completely succeeded at doing.

Hello friends! Haven't posted for a while, though I've been reading - feel like when I was little, running after the bigger kids - "Wait for me! Wait for me!" (Of course they never did!)
Well I've caught up now, though I should really be out buying Chrissie presents, not lazing around here! (but what the heck!)
Does anyone know any inexpensive, but brilliant presents that don't weigh much and are readily available? this is not a trick question! My brother has unexpectedly sent us presents - postage cost over $10! Now I have to think of something for him and his wife, and quickly, so I can get it posted in time. The wrapping paper has ripped and half the contents fell out and I'm thinking "Oh... a padded coathanger, how ... nice.." Yes, I'm feeling a bit Scrooge-like today. I was expecting a card, then I would have sent a card - duty done, kiss kiss. (We're not exactly close, you might have guessed) Oh well, on the bright side - the turkey is ordered! (and it's organic!)
