Ebob is in the most tested year in history! She did tests in years 3,5,7 and 8 that sound like your lesser exams. While in year 8 they decided to make the tests national instead of state and she got to do yet another one in year 9. She will have her school certificate in year 10, and higher school certificate in year 12 - the final year (the important ones).

You have 13 years, does that mean you call kindergarten year 1? Our schooling is 13 years long, but the second year is called year 1.

I always did horribly in school. But that's because I had undiagnosed dyslexia. I knew the subjects but couldn't pass the tests. Then on weekends, I sometimes had to do do IQ tests given by University Psych. students. Those were easier because of no studying and lack of pressure on grades. But they are like big exams in that they last for many hours.

I just looked out the window. The fog is getting REALLY thick. I have a bad feeling that IH may skip the meeting tonight. He said that he was planning on leaving here at 3 pm, and it's nearly 4 pm now. With this fog and drizzle, the driving conditions will be a mess.

Suzy... That is probably one of his bigger problems. He's too cheap to buy the plow. He prefers borrowing.

I'm off to see Mum again today but this time taking my daughter and grandies with me - she loves to see them but is so repetitive. She'll ask them 20 times how old they are, what grade they're in etc. But they're good kids, they understand and are happy to see their great-granny.
