Can't do the chicken dance - have my page all ready for Australia Day - early I know.
I have 'Botany Bay' on YouTube and a weblink to Wikipedia about Australia Day. I also have this avatar and lots of Australian smileys, to be unveiled later.

still reading...almost there....
Stella...UNBELIEVABLE....what a shocking tactic!!!
We received a bill like that ...well not quite so bad...and I had a heart attack until I sorted the cause...meter misread [or recorded incorrectly]!

Not long after this we did have a burst pipe....not good...I went hunting last year when I realised that my garden was growing and looking lush during a drought...should have been dormant in staying alive [just] mode...

Oh Bean - wish I could have found one with a pointer to Brisbane - might go looking again!
And, no, the rose isn't mine. I used to have some lovely roses where we used to live but this house has an Australian native garden so we left it as it was (less maintenance). My sister has 56 rose bushes - every variety you can think of but none as purple as my avatar.

Back to the purple rose.
Yes, we do get plenty of birds - had to buy a bird book so my grandies could identify them all. But having a dog scares them away except for those pesky noisy mynahs!

Buggy is loaded up!!! Slight change in plans. I'm gonna deliver the buggy and the harness now. That way I don't have to worry about it tomorrow.

Cyn I put the pointer on in paint...enlarged the image to max ...put a dot on Melbourne and then wrote 'my home'...that was tricky but got there in the end...I have a lot to learn with that sort of stuff... The good thing is what looks pretty RS when enlarged to the max often looks OK when it is reduced...

That's a cleaned up explanation of RS, Bean.
Won't try to get a pointer to Brisbane on an Oz smiley cos it would take up too much room at the side. Your pointer to Melbourne fits neatly into the Great Australian Bight. A pointer to Brissie would take us to NZ!!
