I just got back, and hear/ read Gail's news. Gail, I am so sorry for you. You must be hurting a lot. It sounds like your mother went peacefully. She didn't have to endure the surgery, recuperation and rehab. It may have been a blessing that she was spared those.

Just had a lovely chat with CynB on skype. It is amazing to talk across the world like I was talking to my neighbor. I tried talking to Mariana earlier but the connection was not good. We will have to try again. I also need to get a hold of Heidi one of these days.

I am going to sleep early tonight so I will catch up with everyone tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great day/night.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes for my FIL's neurosurgery today. He had to be at hospital by 7am for early surgery, and now, 6 1/2 hours later, is still waiting.

Gail...As I have sais before...God doesn't make mistakes...When a door is closed, a window is then opened...Walk with peace!

Heidi...Good luck tomorrow as you get the teeth fixed....and enjoy whatever you like tonight...
Stella....I understand your anger and frustration....lousy tactics to get a response..I'm glad you filed a complaint...but call a TV station and report it, also a letter to the editors in your newspaper...these companies don't like pubblicity...those efforts seem to get better results for those who take the time and make a big deal of noise..

I have uploaded a few new pictures in my galley of Angel's first Christmas and a picture of her Mom. Also a different shot of Angel and I in San Francisco.

I went shopping today and ran into a work mate/friend. I knew his wife was sick (bone cancer) so I asked how she was. She had died 3 days after hubby went on holidays so we missed the news. She leaves 2 children, both in high school. The eldest is in Year 12 and has MD.

Susan.... apparently the Hospital has some patients that they feel are at far graver risk than your FIL, and needed first priority in the OR. It's frustrating, I know, but I do try to look at things like this from the other point of view.
On the flip side..... What the Water Company pulled was CR*P! Mama is right. This is what the Press is for! Tell the news people. Publicize it!

I was watching a DVD..... Get Smart......... and now need to feed the dogs.

Oh Gail, I just read your sad news - I'm so sorry! Thinking of you and your family. May your Mum rest in peace.

Heidi - your comment about the hospital having patients at greater risk - the problem really is the state of our Health system in Queensland. I hope Susan's FIL doesn't have a long wait. Some patients go in for an op and are sent home several times before it actually gets done!
Fingers crossed in this case that op is done and has been successful.

Actually I went to the local shopping complex and went to the pictures with a neighbour. We saw the one with brad Pitt and Cate Blanchet about Benjamen Button.

Just glanced to above comments and I think I had better go back and read.

I have been busy installing the webcam. So far only on MSN and learning how to use it.
