How are you doing eaa? glad you got here when people were around. How you doing on your minutes for the month??

Does anyone know if there is a way to download these pages, so eaa could do a fast download and read off line?? We used to do that back in the old days of dial up and limited minutes, down load a board, read off line, write answers, and sign back on to answer. Just a thought.

Getting ready for all the kids to come home for Thanksgiving. Brendan has a bad cold so he called last night and said he may just skip his classes on Monday and Tuesday and come home on Friday. Jerry will go pick him up. Saturday morning I drive to Boston to pick up Bryana. She ends classes at 11:30 and she's already made plans with her friends here to go to the movies when we get back. Her favorite series of books is the "Twilight" series and the movie opens on Friday. We haven't figured out what to do about Meghan. I was hoping she could find a ride, but she is so busy I guess that is hard to do. I may have to go pick her up in Boston on Tuesday. Then Meghan and Brendan have to be back to school on Sunday (opposite directions) and Bryana goes back on Monday.(12/1) We definitely need to get a new car!

I just got up, but I'm not here yet. I've got loads to do before my visitors get here... get dressed, have brekky, feed calves & lock them in the feeding area for the visitors to see. They're coming specifically to see the calves since they sold me the bull that sired them.
Busy, busy, busy.......

Oh Heidi, what a very busy day for you, but you sound happy. Hope it is everything you want it to be. Has it warmed up there? We had a crisp cold early morning, but with sunshine. I know cause I went outside to feed Al's cat, Phantom does not come into the house. Still a bit too feral if left alone for long inside. He visits Al in the dome most days though.

STELLA, I missed you! Even said glad to see you found us. So there!

It is COLD out. About an inch of ice on the tanks and in the bird bath, but the omnipresent MUD is still deep.

My visitors were delayed due to a sick calf at the show in Louisville. They had to wait for the vet to treat it. Their cattle are now loaded in one trailer, and on their way home to Iowa. The motor home is on it's way here, and should be arriving in about half an hour to 45 minutes.
I got hay out for the cows, and put feed out for the calves, then locked them up in the feeding area for better viewing. I think I'm ready to rock and roll.

Had a great visit! Cows were admired and complemented. Bull showed off nicely, and calves wowed 'em. We also discussed which cows at their sale this weekend would go well in my program.

Heidi, so happy for you that all went well. I caan hear the smile on your face, you must be grinning about as much as your smiley. Was this the bull that was a bit pricey? and he is throwing nice calves that knowledgeable people admire? good investemnt then I would say.

did you get any little boy bulls just like him?

Good mAen (just barely), SA7! It's good to see that many of our friends have found us. If I get some time later, I may try to send a few e-mails, not that I have very many addresses. Now, I need to get some lunch before heading off for some acupuncture this afternoon.

Stella – Ebob loves the Twilight series too! Actually she loves a lot of series. She came home from school dancing up and down because she had been able to borrow Breaking Dawn from the school library. That was Monday afternoon. I just checked and she has already read nearly 700 pages already. Driving to Boston twice (I think I read that right) sounds like a drag – shame their schedules don’t match!

Bean – I hope you get one tree, not three.

These breeders who visited are some of the most knowledgeable in the country. I got the bull from them. They were amazed at the uniform quality of these 40 calves. They look almost like little clones of Rede (short for SLGN Redeemer).

MizT your hottie photo is bootiful! My vote is tell the folks on easy. You can tell them how long it took you to find the photo if you feel like it’s late! You never know, might start all over again! It took so long for me to get this to post that Rayray dropped in and I can see you already did!
