I think we can refer to them as VV1 and VV2...I'll leave it up to them to tussle as to who is who!

Good... I'm having problems telling them apart, now. At least when Viv was Elise, Elsie didn't post much.

Hello to all SA6-ers! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get back here later tonight. Have a great day/night, wherever you are!

This is such a temptation. Some of these avatars have not been used by me before. This one is compliments of MizT, our super-dooper, quick-healing patient.

I sometimes think a lot of the problems with posting are site wide, but it did not hurt a thing to move house again. As mentioned, I have a great real estate agent, can find suitable digs in an instant!

If any of you have e-mail address of someone who was not on the mail out I did, please forward the link and invitation on to them. I had a few, but by no means did I have everyone who has posted here. I do not even have a list so I could hunt them down on the Members list now.

HI JULIE, see you are still here, good to see you again. Oh, that illinois avatar shows up really nicely, I had forgotten that one! That black dot on the map is somewhere near Illinois hehehe.

That black dot looks to be on the border between Chicago and the Wisconsin state line. But it is a nice avatar. Maybe the dot should have been white for all the snow there.

Just watched a really good girley movie, one that might interest a few here. Chocolat. A 2001 movie about a single mother in the 60's who opens a chocolate shop on the town square in a remote, untouched French village, and how that event changed the entire village. That movie should come in smel-a-vision!

I never said Chicago wasn't in Illinois, it's just so different from the rest of the state that it's almost a separate entity. Actually, I once heard a meteorologist here in Kentucky describe Gary, Indiana; Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the "Greater Chicago area".

My My ladies, we sure got to 100 fast! goodonya!

Heidi, know you did not say Chicago was not in the great state of Illinois, but not sure the Aussies would know that it was, so had to tease a bit.

Tricia and her kitties need to go to sleep, all four of us were watching a movie (over again) with hubby. He is watching one not over till 1 am, no way for me. Now I know why we do not subscribe to movie channels, he starts watching movies, does not know when to turn them off. he will fall asleep watching I feel sure!

NITE ALL!

ok, i posted it. just be warned though that i have a goiter in the pic! about 4 months earlier i got painful thyroiditis. this is the only thyroid condition that doesn't require any meds and the goiter goes away on its own. at first my doc thought i had a very rare cancer, and would be dead within 2 years, so i was happy to just have a crazy virus that gave me a VERY painful and large thyroid. it took about 8 months to go away on its own. at the beginning it was the size of an extra large egg. i am the only person i know who has ever had a goiter! hahaha! i looked like a man! go get a good laugh on me girls. good night!

How scary to get that intial diagnosis! How long did you have to live with that before they discovered their mistake???

I managed to get my walk in today - with hubby's help and with a break in the middle waiting for the rain to stop. Yesterday was very hot, (can't believe we had a 27 deg day after a 3 deg night only a couple of days before!!) so put the walk off until today - only to have it rain.

Ebob's temp is now 38.5. Still not good. She'll be staying home tomorrow.... Hope she doesn't give it to Ally and ruin Thursday's spelling bee thingame!

Okay, I walked past Ebob and decided to recheck her temp because she didn't look good - 39.4/103. Sigh. Huge bottle of water with orders to drink, panadol/tylenol and a cold cloth. We'll see if that brings it down some...

Hello, y'all!
Suzy, it sounds as if there's a doctor in Ebob's near future.
June, if I could help you, I would. Hang in there.
Thanks to those of you who welcomed carolelove of Florence.

Doctor thought he had told Sharon there was a good chance the wound would get infected!
Because she has seldom had antibiotics she has reacted well and things are clearing up. Stapples are now all out (still the stitches to go). Probably home again tomorrow.
Thanks for your concern.

Four hours from her last meds Ebob is down to 37.4. She was that low earlier today though. It seems like she goes up around the 5-6 hour mark. Mum says we should just give her the meds every 4 hours to keep it down. I don't know!!!

Tomorrow morning Viv! I don't think she's up to sitting at casualty for hours and I'm not sure she's sick enough to warrant it. But her symptoms are too much like Gail's son and DIL for me to ignore...
