Rolanda? are you up and about yet? I want to check out my MSN. HOPE problem is better now. Hubby just spent about hour and half with a tech from out service provider, the DSL line, and they did find some " noise" on the line that might be causing problems. told us to try about 2 or 3 days and see.

Soo sorry for all the problems we had our last chat and hopefully it will be better now.

Finally caught up reading all the posts. Now I really do need a hot chocolate. For those making spaghettie bolognese, I forgot who it was, we must be having similar thoughts. I am making a baked ziti for dinner tonight. It should be ready soon.

I'm back from picking up 200+ lbs of dog food, 40 lbs of cat food, 100 lbs of feed for the peafowl, some dog treats and toys and a few groceries for us. Now I need to get on the phone with the bush hog mechanic, THEN do the feeding. I think I need a short break in there somewhere. Like NOW!

Baked Ziti is ziti, penne or any other tube shaped pasta. After it is cooked you mix it with tomato sauce, ricotta cheese and shredded mozzerella cheese. Mix it all up, put it in a casserole or baking dish. Sprinkle more cheese on top and bake for about 30 minutes at 325 - 350 degrees. Cheese, gooey and NOT for someone on a diet. It is my "comfort" food.

Idiot hubby's cheapness just bit him. He has goats, which he keeps on other peoples farms. I'm not sure how many goats, and how many farms. To protect these goats he uses so-called guard dogs. I say so-called because their breed was developed as guardians. Not all dogs of that breed have the instinct, especially since they are being mass produced right now because if the popularity of guard dogs. Well, IH, instead of buying good dogs that have been proven as guardians, he uses only dogs that have been given away free. While he was off on the other side of the state, a pack of stray dogs went after a flock of his goats and injured a bunch. I don't know if any were killed. A truck driver going by saw the attack and chased the dogs off. IH's guard dogs did nothing to protect the goats. IH got what he paid for.

Bean, I was reading up on the muck up day at Xavier. Probably only a minority of seniors were involved, but as always, everyone suffers. I bet those involved already had a name at the school for being difficult students, but because of Daddy's money / influence were allowed to stay at school - probably lots of very generous donations to the school over the years or other favours. The ironic thing is that those elite schools charge such high fees to keep out the riff raff. I hope the government cuts off all funding until the school picks up its game as far as behaviour management goes. I wouldn't want to be an innocent senior of that school looking for a job in Melbourne.

Morning all you lovely SA6 people. Can't stay and can't read all the pages I've missed until later when there'll be more. Things to do.
Saw the movie 'Burn after Reading' yesterday. I loved it but it may not be to everyone's taste. Black comedy. Love you and leave you for now. Tata.

It would be nice if schools had a zero tolerance policy on violence and vandalism. A kid commits the crime, they fail the year and have to repeat. The humiliation alone would be a great deterrent.

oh, woe is me. no choir for me tonight. instead i get to go to benny's high school choir concert. i guess you could say i am a choir snob, but is only cause i have been trained to be! these are quite painful for me. i act thrilled to be there and praise benny up and down, but i am lying! benny is a beautiful soloist though, and he is singing one tonight. he just told me about it a few hours ago! little stinker! he's singing, "bonney, bonney banks of lach lomen"? i am looking forward to hearing him.
