tee hee

Ebob likes a nice cup of tea in the morning. She'd have that for breakfast if I let her get away with it!

OOPS. I meant to adress the above post to Gail. I read the posts and then had Suzy's name right above me and the fingers did one thing and the brain another.

Many US communities now set hours for trick-or-treating, as 3-7 pm or 4-8 pm. One town in Illinois has banned 9th grade and up from trick-or-treating. That's about 14-15 and older, the ones who are more likely to pull pranks, etc. Usually, turning on your porch light is a signal that children may come to your house. In my neighborhood, MANY children up through about age 8 or 9 are accompanied by a parent - sometimes the parent is also in costume.

Nola, this year the costumes were easy. S1 is wearing army fatigues and going as a soldier, S2 is going as an astronaut. He is wearing the costume we bought S1 for a class project. Having 2 boys is great. I throw nothing out, the younger one gets a lot of hand-me-downs.

Julie, you asked a few pages back about my bed time. I do get up early. I am up at 5:00 am to get my older son on the school bus at 5:15. His school day starts at 7:45 and he is one of the first stops. He does not go to the neighborhood school. He was able to get into an honors middle school program. It was his choice.

Hi, Suzy, Sneeky Susan, Nola and Tami! Hello, Everyone! I'm sorry I just barged right in without a proper G'Day! And now, I'm afraid I need to barge right out, as we need to get ready to go to a meeting. Hope to pop in again later.

Wow, Tami! You guys are early risers. S#1's school must be a distance from you, if he needs to be on the bus by 5:15 for a 7:45 start. Does he do some of his studying/homework on the bus? Did he know the bus schedule when he chose to enroll in the school?

Nola, I also get hand me downs from one of my nephews. The only problem is, he is older than my kids but my younger one is about to outgrow him. Both of my boys are big for their ages and nephew is little for his age.
