I have just had my retail theropy. I wanted a new corner cupboard for the family room. Worked out what I wanted and had to find a cabinet maker to make it. The quote was about 1/2 what I expected and I will have it in abot three weeks.
That does involve a lot of clearing up.
The 3 ft x 5 1/2 ft desk in the computer room can go. It is covered in rubbish. The cupboards in the family room will move to the computer room.
ALL I have to do is get hubby to help me move everything and sort out his million bits of paper.!!

Bean, have you got any spare boxes I can borrow?

don't bother with a box june...if you haven't looked at it or used it in 6 months toss it. unless of course it is documentation stuff that needs to be saved. my sister's mantra (who is more obsessive compulsive that i am) is it isn't beautiful, useful, or have incredible sentimental value, throw it out.

she (sister) follows her rules to a t. i follow my rules for about ten min. like this last rule i just made up..... i will stop eating before i get full enough to burst.....i will follow that rule until lunch tomorrow. sigh.

i'm feeling a little bit under the weather, so i should take myself off to bed. i'm hoping it will go away without causing me too much grief.

My hubby couldn't understand why I wasn't impressed when he told me my dairy air looked big in a new pair of crop pants I bought! I'm size 10 (don't know the US equivalent) so he didn't think it was offensive. Anybody want to take him? Maybe I could enrol him in a charm school.

I am another big fan of ‘War of the World’ and have it on vinyl and CD….I used to put it on when I was painting and sing along madly as I slapped paint on the walls…worked for me…

9PM here and all my treats have been snavelled up by little kids - no big kids this year and if they do come now, they'll be told to buzz off!!

Had some cute little kids - little girls dressed as fairies and little boys dressed as dracula. They all smiled and thanked us - really nice,
