I have considered buying a couple race horses, but the injury rate has turned me off to the idea.

Septimus is not injured.

I walked in on the end of it, but I think it was the rider of Septimus who just said the horse didn't have what it took - did fine until the straight and then they just 'went by us as if we were stopped.' Hope so, because that means no injury.

Good Susan heard it too!

Suzy the cook was very reluctant to let me in the kitchen to see what he was doing but he covered the base of the muffin pans with muffin mix , added a dollop of caramel and topped it up with muffin mix. he he...that was the theory...there was bits of caramel all over the muffin tray. I was really told off when I tried to scrape a bit more out of the bowl and into the pans...I was threatened.....with MISSING OUT if I didn't mind my own business!!!

I still haven't made it to bed. Does anybody know what happened to Gallopin?

I think they said he ran out of breath.. something like that.. he is ok

Capsicum soup Rolanda, simmering now. It has absolutely no salt or pepper added, which I thought was strange.... will do a taste test and see if I want to add some later!

I see that my sweeps horse, Septimus, the favorite, finished 18th. He just quit in the middle of the race. Maybe he's related to Big Brown.

What internet we had a work today was soooooo sloooow!
Haven't heard from my butt Dr but going to see my GP tomorrow to get results from the other tests I had.

Tomorrow night is our high school's awards night. My princess in her first year will be getting a distinction in studies, plus merits in citizenship and cultural awards. Son #2 will be getting a sporting award for being in the regional cross country team. I bought her 2 dresses (both cheap), but she now doesn't like either one of them. Tough.
