Maybe Heidi has gone to bed, as she's going to the Red Angus show tomorrow, along with viewing a number of displays.

Too slow

Suzy, it would be my guess that they have air conditioning now. It seems like southern California has been having longer hot stretches than they used to. In the past, they seemed to have more mid- to high-70* days, but seems like more hotter stretches of time now.

Only a few pages left to go and we will probably go to SA7. SA6 is getting to be very slow, but I will be sorry to see it go....

I do hope she - and all of your relatives - are OK! I also hope our fellow Sudokuist in southern California are all OK, as well as the DUGs in the storm area!

I agree, Suzy, but we have hung in there. Just think - 20 rows of numbers at the top & bottom of each page!

Good afternoon everybody....so nice to be back.
Blasted modum has been on the blink again...didn't put me out too much this morning as I an appointment in the morning and then I met Kate at a Botanical Art exhibition. Naturally we had to go and have coffee and lunch after that....

I have just finished reading and checking out Shosho's photo's...absolutely brilliant...especially the one of her with Vici. That is what it will be like when Vici and I finally get to meet!!

I got back from the show , said hello, felt tired and decided to lay down for a few minutes. I woke up after midnight. I just fed the dogs. I need to go back to bed an a few, because I need to leave here no later than 9 am.

Julie... How do you come up with 20 rows of numbers on the top and bottom of each page??? I only have 9 rows (actually 8 1/2)

It's down to freezing right now. I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning, and will probably need to do it again tomorrow morning.

I just wish that the mud would freeze. Cold mud is the worst possible condition for livestock.

I have a 20" screen. That might explain it. I know IH has a tiny screen on his dinosaur of a pooter. Probably 1/4 the size of mine. He's too cheap to buy himself a decent one.

stella, i was thinking that brendan has come a long way since the beginning of the season. he went from not even playing for some stupid reason i can't remember (politics probably) to being a starting player! that is great!
june-i am dang proud of you for sticking with all that decluttering! now you don't need to do it for another 10 years or so!

susan, i have been chuckling about your computer attire with young girls to witness the craziness! love it!
i have also been lauging at suzy's girls going to school nekked if the clothes aren't dry. that might even scare them into doing their own laundry!

julie- i wish i had a south facing window in my kitchen so i could do the herb thing. those will be great real soon it looks like. i also wish i could plant a gardinia in my yard. would you do that for me so i can live vicariously through you? no gardinias for me here in utah...even the house plant don't do real well.

i said julie in that last post, but i know it is tami that is doing the little mug, herb planting. duh mariana! please pass the worms heidi!

Mariana, Terri Irwin is the American wife of the late Steve Irwin, the Aussie crocodile hunter. If you google her name, you'll get lots of images. Does anybody else think the close up (absolutely stunning) photo of mariana on her page is very similar to Terri Irwin, apart from the hair colour? I would also love herb planters on my kitchen window sill. I've decided my next house will allow me to do this.

I'm glad you all liked my daughter's friends seeing me at my best. I wish now I'd had on 7" heels too (not that I own any). The kids and their parents knew me as a teacher long ago so I think they know I'm pretty normal. Next time I see them I'll ask what the kids said / parents thought though. I'm wondering, Broni, what the cleaners at the SF chalet must have thought when they found feathers of every colour around one table.

Well Susan you had chooks running thru the house, Bella had a blue feather stuck on her nose, sure that place will never be the same again hehe!
