Hi MizT, I reprovisioned yesterday but hadn't got the car unpacked by the time Ally's bus arrived. I didn't get the groceries put away until this morning after the dramas of last night.

Vici, no, I do not do all the chairs, lots of these ladies are finding thier own! I think I found a few, I remember a bright blue one some one had, and a couple others. If any need help, I am glad to go shopping for chairs and make names.

We take turns, I could not find a bright red riding lawn mower and kathy of a smilie for every occasion found one and sent it.

IF anyone on SA5 needs a name, and would like me to make them one, just ask, I would be glad to make one.

Suzy, I have not read all the pages, and missed your post about Ally. I take it there was bullying in volved, those same girls from the birthday?

We got cold things put away and some other things, but canned goods and bottled sodas are waiting for tomorrow. We were gone for 7 hours, what with test first and then about 4 different shops and lunch. I am tired and deserve a break!

MizT - had to go back to see what I had missed - yes, I'm looking very spiffy today! Thanks to you!

No, that's the worst part MizT, this is another group.... Wonder if the school is trying to call me. Tough if they are!!

Ally is still asleep and if she feels half as bad as I do, she needs it. Besides, it gives me more time to read the news and chat!!

Hi to CynB, MizT, Rolanda, Vici, Zusy and Ally hope you all are well.

Wow you ladies have been chatting.....first thing I did when I saw that there were over 6 pages in less than 24hrs was go and grab my chair!!!!

Nearly afternoon here.
The cloud is just clearing now to be blue sky and sunshine.
Two loads of washing I am hoping will dry.
Hubby has the car today, he has been out to get wood.

I am now about to make some Lemon Butter and maybe one of the Lemon Cake recipes I found online.

I am feeling quite exhausted after the last couple of days. Need to shower and work out my priorities for the day.....must write another list. We are out of consumable items [but at least we have toilet paper and dog food] and can't possibly have pizza again so shopping should be high on the list.
Visit to medicare to get some refunds would be good...getting low on the folding stuff and I'm trying valiently not to use my plastic!!
Need to go visit MIL.....
Looks like I won't have time to feed the machines or push the sucky thing around....SHAME!!!
But first I need another coffee.....

MIL is not good....is in better shape physically than mentally. This is a worry because she has always been as sharp as a tack. It is not good to see her so confused and so it looks like it will be a while before she will be able to go anywhere let alone home. She has been profoundly deaf for 40 or 50 years yesterday she couldn't even get her hearing aid in properly. That is certainly a big indicator of how incapable she is of doing much for herself anymore.
I've been trying to remember how long it took my mother to return to the world when she was away with the pixies. At least MIL recognised me...my poor mother didn't.... spent an hour telling me all about moi..... how I was living in the city etc. etc....

Oh Suzy... my heart bleeds for you and Ally. My lad was bullied in primary school.... I was there one day and witnessed it. I was working in the art room when the bell went and I watched all the kids going back into the school and watched out for son. I saw this little toe rag standing over my boy and not allowing him into the building. I made the really difficult decision to stand back and observe to see just how his teacher would handle it. Glad I did despite it breaking my heart because it gave me something concrete to work with. We had been going round and round in circles in conflict resolution because without witnesses and no sign of physical trauma it was the bullies word against L'ies. I immediately confronted the principal with what I'd witnessed and took my lad home for the day. I think in retrospect after the tears had dried that he found the outcome was worth it...an early mark!! More important was the vindication...he was believed. The bully was suspended [again] and a different class teacher made all the difference. A lot to contend with in grade 3.

Lee ... I hope your bathroom renos are completed without any more mishaps. I am currently researching and buying fittings for our bathroom. I hope we don't have similar dramas.

CynB I vote to keep the dancing chook.....

Vici.. are you using the numbers on the keypad to the right and not the ones up the top.... if you are just check that the numeral/number lock key isn't on [top key in LH corner of the key pad]

Well...have certainly managed a CP but I will pass on going for a TOPP!! Have packed the chair away for another day and am off to tackle that list.

Wow it is 26 deg (81f)in Brissy today, and the other nite it was 3.6 deg (38F)

Tell you what, Broni, here in my office it doesn't feel like 26deg. But I have to go out now, so I'll warm up in the car for sure.
