gail i saw your post on the debate page. i too left scratching my head. it seems more like a page to show off one clever vocabulary and profound thoughts than a place for friends to gather. i prefer sa5.

Evening all! I've had great fun reading the posts, but now I'm finished I can't remember all the things I thought about saying. My brain is not working today. Just a bit tired I guess. I see Rolanda posted on easy this morning - where did she find the time?????

Didn't you know Suzy, Rolanda is a Wonder Woman! Did you know she has a clean house...all the time. I know she's my twin and all but there was a mix-up somewhere! She got all the clean genes and I got all the leftovers!!!
I'm terrified of the day she comes to my place.

I am truly a dag!

Had a lovely brunch at a nearby café that does a Sunday Breakfast Buffet. Unfortunately, D#1 wasn't able to join us as she had work commitments, but the other three chilblains were there along with my son's girlfriend.
The buffet consisted of doorstop sized slices of fruit bread or normal bread that could be put through a toasting machine thingy. Then you moved around to the pancake area, with all the trimmings, made to order omelettes and croissants Then there were warmers full of poached, fried or scrambled eggs, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, chipolatas and bacon!

Oh wow Gail, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! There's nowhere like that in this one horse town. I'll just have to travel more!

And now I must away to the kitchen. After that brunch, it's only a light dinner of Minestrone Soup tonight, with crusty bread. Soup is so underrated as a meal.
I will be back later to go into chat if anyone is around.

Took ebob to baseball training today. I was watching her and trying to work out what was going on. She can hit the ball out of the park, and pitch like a pro, wo why was she playing so badly... Finally worked it out when she had a part of the field to herself - it's a women's team, she's only 15, and she feels like she should concede the ball to them - that is, lack of confidence!!!!

Bless her, tell her there is no shame in being better than old ducks!
