HI AMELIA, did not see you had posted when I was writing. Good of you to drop in, come back when you can stay longer and chat. Always like to see new faces here.

Cyn, Florida is mostly flat! and they live not too far inland, but far enough to miss the storm surge I think, since they moved. They lived over on the beach side when they first moved down there, glad they are not still there.

Huumm, with the storm blowing OUT to sea, not blowing IN from the sea (Fay has been called "the joker" cause of the eratic path she has taken her whole history) I am not sure what that does for storm surge.

Well, with 3 weeks before my surgery, and only one more doc appointment this week, a Thursday follow up with my GP, and then nothing for the next 2 weeks, I scheduled the glucose tolerance test for comming Monday. I had cancled that one back when I got sick following the colonoscopy. time to get it done! Be glad when there is somethng other than docs and tests on my calendar!

I do have a birthday party to go to, Sept 6. Worled that in fore surgery, as it is a combined party for Al and a friend who has a birthday just a few days apart. AND I am not hosting it, but a mutual friend is, at his house. I must take Al's birthday caake, think I can handle that, don't you?

Off to Reno for acupuncture today - an all day event. Beautiful drive, tho, over Donner Pass through the gorgeous Sierra Nevada moutain range.

The last I heard about TS Fay, she's expected to do out to sea, pick up momentum to upgrade to a hurricane, then swing back to northern Florida. She definitely is a busy girl. I just hope she continues inland to Kentucky. We need a LOT of rain.

It's only a few hours until the 2 am to 3 am Sudokuland-time glitch. It will be interesting to see if it does happen then. Oops, spoke too soon. My smilies just disappeared.

Wonder if this happens on Easy or the other daily pages? I did find one mention on D and D of all the coments being gone , and that at 2:30 site time! I hope to be able to do a bit of visiting at that time frame today and see what happens.

I think that is when I have problems, too. It always seems to be in the morning for me just before I leave the site.

We finally got some rain. It poured pretty good late afternoon yesterday. Rained again in the middle of the night, it woke me up.(our bedroom has a metal roof) It is raining right now. No beach today. I guess that means I have to stay home and do STUFF.

Since I am here all alone, one more for CP.

I'm back

I went looking for a song and found it.

This is usually the time of day I wrap it up here. My posts start getting timed out and I leave because nothing gets through and it is frustrating.

It happened just now and all I did was refresh the page

At 2:11 am site time, my post took a full minute to try go through. Instead of getting to the page, I then get a totally white page. I do not know if that post went to site or not.

I tried to open the site page, too, again one full minute on DSL connection, to open the SA page, and I opened on a page asking me to be th e first to post. Lets see if posting will get me back.

Lost the 2:11 post, it went into cyber space.



The post from "be first to post" page loaded slowly but went through.

Testing again, sending at 2:21 site time.

RENA, you are right, refresh page is very slow to work, took me a full minute again, OK, we know the glitch comes after 2 am site time. guess that is when I should try to do STUFF at home hehehe

Well have to do it sometime, it does not do itself at my house hehe.

It does tend to slow down for me at this time of day. I haven't really noticed if it slows down at night because I haven't been here a lot at that time lately.

It took seemingly forever for this page to load. The gremlins must party hearty at this hour. Why didn't any of us notice this pattern???

Gath did say he will check with the hosting co to see what is going on that time of day/night. Our leader is on the case, so we can hope it clears up soon!

He is GOOD at this, isn't he? Here we're griping like crazy over the problem, and nobody notices that it only happens during the same time each day. Gath looks in and spots the pattern instantly. I'm so glad that he's on the case.

I think my sleeping sickness is coming back. I've slept away most of the day. I'm hoping that it's just the tail end off the last bout, over reacting from over-doing it last night with the cattle.

Heidi, I will hope with you dear. You were up very late last night, no wonder you did sleep today! and gefore that, was the fair and all the trips down and back , yep, maybe your body was just saying ENOUGH, I need some rest!
