Hi MzT, Twin-Viv, Bean & Ruby -
Just stopping in for awhile. I'm on my laptop because I spilled water on our desktop keyboard. It's acting up right now - hope I didn't ruin it.

We've not long got back from the doctor and the chemist...he sounds ghastly.... like an old man with emphysema. The tightness and pain in his chest has settled a bit now that his cough has become productive. With a bit of luck some antibiotics will nip it in the bud and he'll be back at school next week. He is almost well enough [if the headache would clear] for me to badger the school for some work for him to go along with so he doesn't get too far behind.
I've told him he's dead if I get it!!!!

Bean - glad to hear Lachie is on the mend...but the poor boy still sounds pretty bad - that cough in the end is the worse! I think he's probably smart enough to keep complaining about a headache!

It IS midnight here, and I'm WAY behind on my chores. Just spent a couple of hours this evening working a bunch of calves with Pink-Eye. I still have animals to feed, so I need to get back to it.

Well, this has been a quiet day, both on SA5 and on easy. Everybody must be busy 'cept moi. Oh well, off to play Letter Rip. Like it's been 2 hours since I last played it.

Afternoon all... I'm having a half hour sit down before starting to get ready for our dinner out. It took me AALLLL day to get the pamphlets out, probably a bit slow because I'm still fighting that cold.

Oh yes, the John update, I have posted it on Easy but will do so here too.
He has 50% blockage in both arteries in his neck.
This does not warrant another operation yet !!
He is insulin dependent and he loves his ciggies.
I have badgered him about giving them up be he says he cannot.
Oh well this is his call.............

Today I am waiting for some message from D#3, who lives in Melbourne, FL. Tropical storm Fay is sitting right there, churing around them. I hope they have no flooding, that seems to be the main problem, with over 8 inches of rain. Winds are not that bad, a nice little blow, but nothing serious. Still want her to send out an e-mail saying We are OK, you know?

OOps "anniversary" I meant. Bill has officially retired finished work yesterday he played golf today and kept thinking it was Saturday Yoohoo anyone here??????

Hi Amelia - so are you happy that he's retired? Do you have any plans? Travel, moving house, change in lifestyle? I wish my hubby was retiring with me next week, but he has to keep working, not entitled to claim his Super yet.
