How is the phamplet delivery run going?

Ally's team won their semi-final game this morning (do you know how cold it is standing in the wind at 8:30 in the morning!!!! we were hoping they would lose so we didn't have to do it again next week!!!), I had a lovely coffee with friends, tried to record Ally practicing her solo but it didn't work, and decided not to walk today but leave it to tomorrow - which I will regret tomorrow... especially since Ebob has baseball practice.

Early night for me! Night all!

I even went into chat and had a talk to myself.

Fay, who is wearing a very full skirt, is brushing us as she moves acros the Florida panhandle. Bands of rain from her twirling skirts are all th eway up here, and rain clouds are moving contrary to it's usual pattern, they are moving East to West. Last night Al and I were on the back porch, and could feel the cool breeze coming from the East. Overnight the breeze blew in the light rain we are having now. This TS will just not go away!

Somehow or other I managed to post this on easy...DUH!!!!

Viv...I have 80 at the present. Have submitted a lot over the last week that haven't been approved yet...think Gath has been a bit preoccupied with the gremlins but with a bit of luck they will be here on Monday. There are a few that I will delete once we are off dial up...it is too slow mucking around doing stuff like that at this speed. Have been staying up to do it after midnight when our speed is upgraded but have been getting very tired and getting very little done!!

What is happening on the 5th...am I invited?

Gail, I could not wait for your recipe for Keema curry, so I googled it! Lots of variations were found.

Do you add tomato to yours? Saw one recipe that did, saw one just onion, mince and green peas, and saw one with chick peas (gabonza beans) . ALL of them looked nice. I shall add curry powder to my shopping list, the tin I have of curry is ages old. I am thinking it is time for new. curry is not a spice I use often!

Don't know if anyone is still around. Up early to catch some time here before the kids wake.
Had a fun time yesterday with them...we did Teryaki Shrimp on the barbie which I took a pic of and will post after they leave.

BEAN, slept nicely, thank you. I think I had a kitty guardian last night, keeping away all the night time ghosties. Screech kitty was on my bedside table when I went to sleep and she was there when I woke. Scooter kitty sneaked under the covers with me during the night. I slept through all the kitty doings hehehe, barely remember.

HI Vici, glld to see you on today, missed you yesterday. sounds like you and house guests arehaving fun. I LOVE shrimp, on the barbi, or any way they can be prepared. Were there any leftovers? Cold leftover shrimp makes a yummy breakfast!

BEAN, just how do you keep up with 80 smilies? You would loose the good ones in there, at least I would! You need a search engine for your smilies!

Tricia I always add a 440gm can of chopped tomatoes to mine. All other additions [eg chick peas] depends on how many I am feeding. I think I usually have onion, potatoes and peas in it. haven't made one for ages.

Liz, you do not have to keep refreshing the page if you just keep posting new comments hehehe, like someone who shall remain nameless and stop now fore a CP happens.

Bean, yes, I did see one recipe with potatoes mentioned also! so it is a starting place, add what you like. Do you serve your curry with rice? Even if it has potatoes in it?

Tiffani (my niece) brought a Hazelnut/Chocolate cake from a SF bakery near her home on Ashbury Street...can't believe that girl totted the huge box and her suitcase all the way on BART (mass-transit train) across the bay where nephew (Adam) picked her up in his car!
Anywho - it was yummy as all get out and we postponed having our choco cheesey peesy cake until tonight.

MzT - personally, I love that curry dish on Basmati rice (even with the taters in it)

VICI, the chocolate hazelnut cake sounds lovely and how thoughtful! Yes, some trick bringing luggage and a cake on the BART ( Bay area rapid transit?) Talented young lady she seems.

Shrimp for breakfast is not strange, it is YUMMY! Best shrimp feast I ever had involved a sailboat on the intercoastal watereay at Pensecola FL, and someone to peel the boiled shrimp for me at dinner, and shrimp left over for Breakfast.
