just a quick visit as I'm off to bed
I've been trying to catch up but have now given up on that. Hopefully I will be back more often, though not too sure about that as I have workmen coming in to start on the new bathroom.... have just been waiting 3 months for this day.

Hi Brenda, and sleep well. I hope your bathroom renovations go well with none of the problems others have had with their kitchens....

June have just had a quick look at your photos... they are really lovely again I wish I could take photos like that.

Have I missed some problems with renovations while I have been away.
I'm not expecting ours to be plain sailing as we have two sets of workmen to contend with... we need a new heating boiler too which just happens to be situated in the bathroom so this has to be done first. Fortunately there are other jobs the bathroom guy can do until he gets free reign in the bathroom

People on easy have been talking about them, though one had everything seem to go okay, others either had small problems, or one thing after another... Must depend on the contractors.

Yeah Gail - seems like forever since I've chatted with you. How's it going? I saw you are taking Dino for her tests on Tuesday.

Cathy/Ontario put a list of the problems she has experienced with her kitchen renos a couple of days ago. What a saga! I know Dorthea has also experienced probs. A few others are just starting their renos, or contemplating them.

Gday Vici. About the only time we will catch each other is my morning time on the weekends. Hubby likes to lie in bed till about 10, whereas once I am awake, I have to get up because I get so uncomfortable.
Don't know anything better than to come here.
BTW where did you see about dino?

Best thing is to have your husband do it (providing he's a contractor) ...it may take just as long, but it won't cost as much and you know where to find him!

She just posted it on Easy - said you guys were going out to lunch first...sounded pretty good to me!

Yeah, but you'd hate to have a falling out with your contractor in that case!

Good morning lovely people. Happy to see that Viv posted after I left yesterday. I'm a bit wiped out today. Went out for a lovely seafood dinner last night (oysters, Moreton Bay bug, soft shell crab, prawns, calamari etc - Yum! Plus wine, dessert etc) with my sister, brother and our spouses. We all came back here and watched 'Death at a Funeral' - laughed ourselves silly. Then had tea/coffee and chocolate. By the time they left and we cleaned up and went to bed it was 2AM. Imagine a lot of geriatrics staying up that late?

Will be back a little later. I am having my first but need something to eat to go with it. Just a crumpet for now, mmm...vegemite or honey???
Later, I will be making puffs for brunch,there will be plenty for all so feel .
Yesterday was my D#1's 21st, so I don't think I will be seeing either of the older girls for a few hours yet!

Good day SA5, sure I have missed you all know. Viv posted on Easy and is having an easy day!

I only have one sheet of pastry and no ham. Have the makings of a steak sandwich though.

Just got home from picking up a pair of yearling Peafowl. Nearly 200 mile drive each way. Even with gas prices, it was cheaper than shipping them, and a lot less stressful on the birds. But I'm wiped out. I'm just going to feed the dogs, then go to bed.

Yummy, that's what hubby had for lunch yesterday. I had a roti wrap with Cajun chicken, avocado and salad with the most divine mayonnaise on it!

Puffs are in the oven, should be ready in about ten minutes.
