Good Maen Sudokuland! I am up and having coffee, won't you join me? Weather has been much cooler this last week, highs only in mid 80's (29C) but it is not autumn weather yet. Too humid! when Autum weather comes, the air will be crisp and much fried, by our standards anyway. You can just feel the differende when it happens. Not wanting to wish my life away, but looking forward to the crisp clear weather with the bluest of skies. No blue skies again today, berry berry overcast.

Don't you just love cyber cups? you always have just how many you need,

Oh I am easily entertained today!

Ok, off to get today's chores clicked off, as much as I can do while hubby sleeps in. He worked hard yesterday in the shop, without a helper, always tires him more. But he finished that job, and today he can sleep in.

We will buy a roasted chicken at the grocer's, and home made dressing will go nicely with that. Over the weekend, I shall make hubby a birthday cake, that should be the end of my cooking. Tomorrow I will be out to get testing done, and reprovision the house. someone remind me to see what I need for the day of clear liquids during my prep. I still have some appropiate items left over from the last 2 times!

Hey, I am trying to get a bit motivated here too and get moving. when watching TV at night, I sit too long and get too stiff, so now every comercial, I must either get up and move about or do some sit down exercises. Hey, every little bit helps! Hubby is suposed to repair the tread mill I found at a really good price, Free! Then move it in his old office here in the house, so I can walk my 30 min a day.

BTW - love your bootiful flower, MzT!
I love the way you lined up your duckies before heading off to surgery. I would be so much more relaxed going in if I did that kind of set-up. I am an organizing fiend...just have been out of it for awhile. Being organized makes me feel much better all around

Al';s Birthday is the 7th, sunday, but a friend is having a party on Saturday for several of his friends and family who have birthdays first part of September. A big cook out and music all afternoon, should be fun. This friend once had a touring country band, they were opening act for some big names once upon a time, and they still sound good for old geezers. We enjoy his musical afternoons. Just watch out for the chickens and ducks and other fowl.

I love my nordic track during the winter...just zip along for 30 minutes easily while being distracted by the TV - that's the key - staying distracted!!!

Vici, I try for orginization, and yes, I can relax if I know my ducks are all in a row. this has not been hard, once I made my list!

I have always been a list maker, it keeps me focused and motivated. FUN to mark things off the list when finished, I get a real sense of accomplishment. My lists can get detailed, if I have a big chore. Not " clean house" but each room and what needs to be done and I get to mark things off more often, gets me motivated.

Why am I so busy if I'm retired? I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms because I don't have time to talk to my cyberfriends on SA5.

Oh CynB! I said the same thing when I retired. It was so frustrating...I use to wonder where I found the time to work!!
MzT - I LOVE making lists. I does feel good to cross things off. My problem is keeping my lists manageable and putting the things that need to be on God's list ON IT!

OH Vici, I got to choose what day I wanted for surgery, and told them, had to be after the 7th! They were very nice about that. I knew he would be most unhappy if I forgot his birthday! One of the few occasions he gets REAL cake, the kind that is not good for you, but I do make it with no trans fats, only veg oil, but oh my the calories, and white sugar and white flour! He gets a cake his birthday in September, and at Thanksgiving or Christmas ( not both) and Valentines day, and my birthday in June! he looks forward to those 4 times a year!

Maen all. The horses are still out. They're playing keep-away from Heidi. I'm gonna change footwear... Crocs don't work well in DEEP, wet pasture. Then I'm gonna try bribery.

MizT... you're lucky to have the luxury if getting the house organized and prepped before your surgery. Mine usually are either unexpected emergencies or I'm physically unable to do anything before the op.
