Had a wongerful dinner at a little french restaurant close to home last night, just wish I did not have to go to work today. The thought of a lazy day at home............

Mariana - it sounds like you feel a little better too. How you cope with 5 younguns while hubby is away I'll never know. When I saw how much work 2 were I knew that I would never cope with more!

Broni, will you have to go on a diet after three birthday dinners?? Looking at your photos I doubt it, but that may be how you stay so slim!

Broni, the 7 dwarves worked hard. It sounds like Dumb and Dumber prevent a lot of work being done.

Ahhhh, I just had the bestest nap! catching up on some sleep here, and woke feeling really refreshed. Pain meds down to half a pill of the milder ones now. surgical pain is more a discomfort than a pain, with the meds.

Nurse was surprised at me asking for a milder pain med hehehe. I have never had any doc turn down that request. I guess cause most people always call for MORE and STRONGER pain meds.


Have not pushed the sucky thing, nor anything else constructive, except rest and heal. that is a big enough job now, that and fill and empty the sitz bath. NO I do not have to lift it, can fill on side of the tub with the hand held shower, and it is just a quick slide it over to toilet.

Anyone remodeling bathrooms, think about a "in toilet bidet" appliance. I sure do wish I had one here, and plan on one in the "someday house". You do not need extra room for a seperate bidet, this fits your toilet, just need a bit of extra plumbing, valves and hot water to the toilet area.

June, you've done admirably with Sharon and Laura. One of my posts was after your first night with both when you flaked out early. I was asking Ken to step up to the plate -- and wash it. I'm glad the post went away and happier that he has helped you. A good man is hard to find.

I heard in the restaurant tonight that gas was $4.159 downtown and going to over $5.00 tomorrow, all because Ivan may hit the refineries in the gulf. That's MAY hit...
I was low so I stopped at my usual spot where gas has been $3.439 for the last week. It's still the same price and the lines looked like the 70's. This all could have been a rumor. I hope so. Nonetheless, something has got to give on these gas prices. It's killing the economy.

Hello All..To parrot Gail...I'm not here...Preparing to go to San Fran and stay with my grandee for a couple of days next week...not to be confused with the meet dates in November, but want to see for myself whats up with Angel's progress and to support my granddaughter...they are eying her too funnily for my comfort...she needs family by her side and I will be one of them....
