Missed you VV. lol ehehehhe
Yes us vibrant and vivacious twins need our sleep to keep up the vibrancy and vivaciousness.
Arghghhg that was a mouthful. lol
Good news, Aust.Post had delivered the parcel of Undercoverwear clothing to the wrong person.
But that person signed for it and opened it.!!!!!
Thankfully Mr. postman revisited them and they still had the parcel.
It has now been delivered to the correct person.
I was getting worried they would not find it, the customer had paid $360.

hi all! had to check in really quick. life has been crazy lately. trying to get homework for 4 done is about doing me in by 11. i draw the line on calculus. i am abysmal at it. hopefully mr.m will be able to come home 3 nights a week in the near future. if he can't benny(17) will fail calc. i could'n do my choir concert either as we're not allowed to miss a rehersal with the conductor and symphony. they had practice every night this week with performances thurs., fri. and sat. how could i leave 5 kids alone 6 nights in a row. 1 is fine but not 6! no ode to joy for me.
no therapy thru music might mean i go totally wacko real quick. it would be great to be a single mom only 4 days a week instead of 2 weeks at a time. don't know if i will be able to handle it if he can't come home more often. he might just need to quit the job. gotta stop or i am going to cry with june. at least my kids are healthy and happy. count your many blessings, right? buona notte tutti.

Mariana, most schools, if not all, do have tutors available for students who need help. Talk to the teacher.
I am SO sorry about the Ode To Joy. I think they were quite unreasonable over the rehearsal schedule. Don't they realize that people have families?

Once again forgot about the time difference Rolanda!
Mariana, how sad. I agree with Heidi that there must be something they can do to accomodate parents in your situation... But I guess rules is rules, like em or not. Sigh.

Mariana, I was trying to remember if I remembered any of my calculus and pulled a textbook from my Uni days off my shelf "Calculus with Analytic Geometry". I read a part of the intro and a light bulb came on! Now that I remember what it is I remember that I liked it! BUT, I was the only one in my high school doing 4 Unit Math (Don't know what it's called now, that's its olden days name) so I had 3 periods (2 hours) one on one with the teacher every two weeks. It sure makes a difference!!!

Much easier day today. Took Laura to day care, put washing in machine and went shopping. Hubby put out the washing, cleaned up the kitchen and brought the washing back in. Laura's father is picking her up this afternoon. Feel a bit more relaxed.
Missed wishing Rolanda a good caravaning trip.
Glad things are starting to get better MizT. Time is the answer!9But that does not help the pain you have now)

I am up having coffee and waiting for pain meds to work again. So I am posting without reading everything, If I missed something I should have commented on, I hope to catch yp later today.
What a difference a little sleep can make, I had 6 straight hours last night. Beginning to feel human again. That strong pain med was not letting me really sleep, just the lie there and not care if assleep or awake. I tried a milder pain med last night, and slept like a baby till it wore off. So I guess I will be taking the milder one today, waiting for it to kick in now and I might get a bit more sleep. I think I can even be up and walk around a bit, and try my recliner again. The bed has been my friend, but I have enough love to extend to my recliner also hehehe.
I like my sitz bath basin they gave me (yeah right, wonder how much that bit of plastic cost my insurance co?) , fill with water, fit on toilet, sit and immerse the appropriate area in about 3 inches of nice warm water. Must do 3 times a day, huumm, wonder if there is a limit how many times I CAN use it hehehe. so much easier than undressing for the tub so many times a day, if I could get into and out of the tub. Can't do that on a good day and with back objecting to bending and moving, well, good thing I have the portable sitz.
Leg pain is more a ache today, can live with that, have lived with a lot worse. Doc wanted me to have a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug, but I am allergic to asprin, so cannot take. But I remembered conversation I had with the wife of a professor of pharmacology, about a topical medication can become systemic in people who are sensitive. So I found the OTC cortisone cream in the medicine cabinet, and rubbed the spinal injection area. the swelling around the stick sites is getting better. Probably why the leg pain is better, ya think?
My ice pack has been a bag of frozen corn. It has almost thawed and been refrozen a few times. After I no longer need the ice pack, it will go in the trash, but 99 cents for a ice pack that does not leak and stays cold for hours, I can spend that. Good thing I picked corn, I have a nice supply of frozen corn in freezer hehehe.
Standing is still uncomfortable, puts a strain on the surgical area, will still need to be down more than up, but at least I can be up and about some. And I can sit fairly comfortably for a short while, I am surprised.
I have been reading the board, and enjoying, getting a laugh or a smile or a grrrr, from the messages, but I do not remember all of them. I blame the medication, can't be getting older can it? Hugs to the birthday girls, I remember JANE and BRONI, and sorry if i forgot anyone. Did I see an anniversary also? Best wishes to any celebrating anything, OH YES, CynB's Collin's last day with the new owner, and the new pup, Best wishes and much happiness on both counts.

I got a message earlier from the caravaners. They had just arrived and were setting up. I replied with a terse TA, watching boring TV. Then I got another message which was a photo of their site! Talk about rubbing salt into the wound!
Really do hope they have a good time...without me!

VICI VICI, remember, no sucky things for 2 weeks! My doctor ordered and the whole site is taking 2 weeks off to honor that!
Nice to be able to move around, slowly, today. I am off to my recliner for a rest now. Catch you next time I am passing through. since I must pass the computer (in my bedroom) on way to the loo, comes in handy for a bit of looking in and reading each trip. With all the water I am ordered to drink, lots of trips.

Good morning everyone.
MizT, I would love to not use the sucky thing for 2 weeks but I am afraid we would get lost in Nuka hair. She is shedding right now and it comes out in handfuls. I will try to sneak it in when no one is looking.
Glad to hear you are on the mend.

good afternoon ladies. feeling better today. there's a possibility mr.m will come home sat. night until mon. morning. maybe by then we will know if he can only work mon.-thurs. for now on. i hope, i hope, i hope!!!
usually we only prac. 1 night a week in preparing a peice of music. then when the conductor is in town (in this case keith lockhart) we have a prac. with him to get all his notes and special instructions. then we have two nights to prac. with the full symphony. if we miss any of these rehersals there are just too many notes and changes to catch up on. and really who wants to be singing through a rest that just got inserted for the violas to do...blah, blah, blah. that has been the policy for all 14 years i've been in the choir. i am still sad to miss it though. to be on stage with a world class symphony, soloists and conductor performing an amazing peice like the 9th, in a beautiful auditorium is a huge rush.
well, with a good nights rest last night i feel up to some major house cleaning. so, off i go to do some scrub therapy! thanks for the words of encouragment dear friends. you lift my spirits and give me strength.

Mariana - so glad you are feeling spunkier today...wish you could swing over here for that scrub therapy. Just got home and have no energy to get the place sucked up (wish I could take your docs advice MzT!) - we have company coming on Sunday and painting to do all day tomorrow, so I'm going to have to get it done sometime - maybe Saturday morning? Yeah - put it off!
