Hello All...Too many reminders have driven me back to Real Arcade games where I had downloaded too many games..one of my favs being flipword..... thought I had broken the addition...but nooooooo, Elise and Suzy had to keep talking about it and now I'm addicted to it all over again...I have too much to do .....I can't spend time here and there too....internet offers too much....wah....

Just finished connecting a new TV that I got for "free" when I signed up for a FIOS service bundle, that I'm very happy with...high speed internet, phone service and computer tie-in at a decent price...the TV is HD and flat...it can go on my wall and replace the bulky, but good set that I had in my bedroom...yet we all know that nothing is free.....this one is almost there. I'm a happy camper if I can get away from this addiction problem...got to fight it ....at least until after the wedding....see you around...whenever....Jazz fest still on tho...no probs...Peace.

SUZY, will be getting ready to go to dermatologist in 12 hours. In 14 hours, be in his office. So not long now.

July 11 is my return to the primary care doc, to get results of these other tests, most of which are not even scheculed yet! I think we can remember each other's appointment dates. Of course you will be finished and done way before I even get to that date, Australia being so much earlier to catch daylight.

AND NO SUZY, I was not lurking waiting for topps! I think I was napping at that time. Take my daytime meds, get sleepy, take a nap. works for me!

I've been trying to get STUFF done in between feeding my addictions. It's a bit slower that way, but much more fun!

d2 got her birthday present from my mum in the mail today.... a little painting of d2 standing on a wooden box, surrounded by emus and gum trees, and it says it is a picture of her starting her singing career...

Forgot to share my great news.... When I went to hospital last November I hid a pair of diamond studs hubby gave me before we were married and my grandmothers platinum wedding set. When I came home, I couldn't find them anywhere. I thought they were gone and I was shattered. Last week d1 went to a school dance and I pulled out my face powder for her to try. There they were, underneath the powder puff!!! I did a little dance... See how often I make myself beautiful?

I need to take My Mom's diamond studs to have them repaired. I lost the screw on back on one, while wearing them! How the stud stayed in my ear, I do not know. guess it ws just meant I get to hang on to Moms earrings. Just checked and they are still where I thought they were hehe,

Suzy - cant quite top the odd things happening in your street but last night when driving home from ma-in-laws at 8.30pm we spotted a (very cold) man in just shirt and undies, not even boxers undies. Brrrrrr

btw poor sick hubby has tonsillitis so turns out not man-flu like I thought am a terrible wife!

MizT, I hope all of your tests come out all right. I don't know all of the background, but I'm thinking of you!

Mama, we're having a Jazz festival here this weekend at SPAC. I haven't been to it in years. It would be nice to go again, but I don't think we have time. S1 will be working at it as a security guard. My two oldest ones always liked working at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) because they get to go to all of the concerts.

Busy day yesterday. Cable guy came to install cable phone so we can call Bryana in Spain. Before we only used our cell for long distance but couldn't call other countries. It was supposed to be simple, but it took four hours because a lot of our cable lines were corrupt, so he had to run new cables. They still have to come back to bury the line in the front yard. Right now it's on top of the grass!

Called Bryana in Spain! First time I called she wasn't there. It was hard communicating with the family she lives with because they only speak spanish and I don't. D1 arrived back from Boston at 5pm, so I had her call (she speaks fluently), in case Bryana wasn't there again. But she was there. She seems to be doing great,, which is a big relief. Although, she said they speak so fast that she can't understand the people there. I'm sure she will get used to it over the next few weeks.

Max had his last soccer game for the season last night. Afterward, one of the parents had us all over for a barbeque and pool party. It was fun, but we got back late.

I'll have to try flipwords. Never heard of it before. Although, I don't have time to get addicted to anything else!!

Hi Stella, nice to see you hear again. If you don't have the time then don't try flipwords because you will get addicted I have to keep away from it or else whole afternoons disappear.

Nothing ever happens outside my house. We live at the end of a cul de sac so no passing traffic either motor or foot. Unless someone is coming to my door there is no reason they would come anywhere near

I really should be cleaning the house. I have my brother and his family arriving from Canada tomorrow morning. I have actually booked 2 days holiday from work so looking forward to that.
