Hi Ingrid! A welcome from Canada to your own page, although I'm not sure you've discovered it. My traditional page warming gift is fresh beavertail pastries from Ottawa, but just in case they go stale before you move in, a bottle of Canadian Ice Wine instead. Let me know when you've moved in, and I'll drop off some pastries.

Hello Ingrid. Welcome to your own page and becoming a S.M. I don't usually like to visit until you've moved in, but I see Greg has already dropped by, so I will leave you with and a bottle of Goundry unwooded Chardonnay from close to my home.
I'm sure you will have fun in here and look forward to your housewarming party.

Hi, Ingrid! I'm so glad you are getting your page under control. (I still don't have a pic, have never included a you-tube, am somewhat computer illiterate myself.) I don't think you post very often, because I thought you were new here. Anyway, a very belated WELCOME to you. I hope you'll enjoy these flowers and a big box of Frango Mints as you arrange your place!

Gday Ingrid, just popping in to introduce myself. Sorry I haven't been here before but its taking me a long time to get right around Sudokuland.
I've brought along some goodies for you. A bottle of Aussie bubbly, a plate of nibblies and an invitation to drop in to my page anytime. Take a walk around the garden and find a seat in the sun. I'll put the kettle on and send the family down to meet you.

Dear Ingrid,
Thanks for visiting my page and gallery. I am really pleased you like the photograph of the waterfall. It was a dramatic scene on an adventure of a life-time. Greenland is magic.

Hi Ingrid,
Thanks for your support over the human rights issue. I feel in a minority under and under much pressure, which makes me doubly appreciative of your support. I also believe that minority opinions are often more balanced; relatively free from effects of propaganda; and therefore often right.

More support from you today Ingrid!! Thank-you!

Most people here (including me) do try to avoid controversy, as we come here to Sudoku-relax. Politics can get into tirING and tireSOME heated argument. However in this case, it was other people who started talking about human rights - albeit they thought their statements were generally accepted (uncontroversial) and therefore might not cause any reaction. That lack of reaction and blind-acceptance of the 'media view' is from brainwashing - in my opinion. In general, Swedish people are more objective and independent in their views than most. I always tend to face up to the propaganda, which, without the kind of support you now provide, can be very wearing.

Hello Ingrid! Saw your note on Rayray's page & realized I had never greeted you before. I see that you have been around for a long time! I have also now seen your photos which I enjoyed very much. Bruce is a gorgeous cat & Hampus reminds me very much of our Ebony. In seeing your photos I realized that I have neglected to post any photos of our cats, Wilsy who is a much smaller female version of Bruce & Jack who is a big fat striped guy. Must do that someday. I love animals of all kinds so also appreciated your deer & quail photos. It's very nice to meet you. Please feel free to stop by my place sometime. The mat is always out.

Hi Ingrid... haven't seen you post before and like Kathy I saw you post on Rayrays page and dropped over to visit you and say VÄLKOMMEN to sudukoland.

Enjoyed your photos..Bruce is certainly a beautiful cat and Hampus a delightful looking puppy. How old is your puppy? Had it been a long time since Isaac departed?

Rayray is certainly a very gifted writer and reporter on current events and in this instance human rights. A lot of us don't comment, not because we don't care but perhaps it is because we care too much and come here to escape and relax - have some fun.

Must confess I had a chuckle at your B'day comment - why do people post greetings on easy instead of the personal page of the sudokuite having a b'day?? I had best keep my opinions on that to myself!!

The study of human nature and what motivates us all certainly is an interesting one! I hope to see you posting one day...not that I can talk.
Ciao.

Hi Ingrid or should I say Madame Rodeuse from Lurker Land....or whatever your nom der plume was...
Had to check..'La Rodeuse From Lurking'...I stand corrected.
It is so good to see you posting. Do you ever drop into SA? It is completely full of nutters who like nothing better to turn a page. Do drop in and say hello...you find us under OFF TOPIC on the FORUM page. Ciao.

Hej, Ingrid!

So, you're a Svenska flicka? I went to a Swedish College in Minnesota - Gustavus Adolphus College. We even sang some Swedish hymns in the concert choir each year on tour! After graduating I lived with the daughter of the Swedish Consul in Minnesota. His name was Par Olaf Forshell and her name was Karin, but we all called her Inka. I have lost touch with her and have tried to find her in Sweden, but I have had no luck. She graduated in the mid 70s. If you ever run into someone who might know her, please let me know!

Tak sa mika! (excuse my spelling...).
