The mosaics are great fun. I still have difficulty purposely breaking a plate - I cringe at breaking china, so I get my friend's 10 year old son to do it for me! Most of the time I work in colourful wall tiles, and go hunting through tile shops for them.

Gee, I had to come right back & comment again. I just looked at your pictures again. You have added a LOT since I was here last! Love your child portrait, your beautiful eagle on slate, & most of all your cute dog & cat!! I think I would like to have a dog like Sky. Is he purebred? We would prefer to rescue a dog from a shelter rather than supporting a dog breeder. Looks like we won't get to search for one until June. We still have a couple more trips coming up before we can stay home for awhile. What city in PA are you in?

Nancy, I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio so I know all about lake effect snow! Sky's ''lineage'' doesn't matter at all. I think very often mixed breed dogs are better than purebred anyway. Hope we are lucky & find one we love as much as you love Sky.
