Nancy & Sky - and I thank you for your well wishes on my page. I love how you have done Sky's smilie so only his face & no background shows. You have really mastered both the avatars & smilies, Nancy. You're a quick learner - well done! Ebony seems to be doing better today. The urinalysis found not only blood but something called struvite crystals, so they gave her a special food that's supposed to change the PH of her urine & prevent bladder stones from forming. I never expected this many problems from a mixed breed dog. They are usually healthier than pure breds. Oh well, it's too late now - we are totally in love with her already & will do whatever we have to to keep her comfortable. Hope she does okay on the long trip tomorrow. I know she's going to love running on the beach! I'll probably be out of touch much of next week, but will try to post on the site once or twice if I get a chance.

Thanks for writing and keeping and out, just after school decided it was time for a little vacation so took Monady off and had a 3 day vacation, went to Las Vegas for some fun and got back late last night!! well off to work talk to you later.

Well we did gamble a little but only took $150.00 each to gamble with, lasted two nights, of playing and bought our drinks and room, so all in all not to bad, is that a frying pan and a kitty in the mail, funny

Hi Nancy, I noticed your comment on 'Easy' this morning and I wondered if it was meant for me. Then I thought, dang it, I'll reply anyway.
Yes, I guess I am beginning to sound like a weatherman but there is a reason for this. I don't know if you are aware but in my younger days I was an Air Force pilot and understanding the weather was 'bread and butter' for us. So you see I haven't lost the habit of looking to the sky and figuring out what it means.
The other point you raise about my smilies is very observant of you. I am working on an iMac and I'm afraid I don't have the time to search around to find a source for those neat little smilies that everyone uses. I guess that's not much fun but there you go. These days I am concentrating more on producing some interesting photos for everyone to enjoy. Speaking of photos, I have browsed through your flickr photos and I am astounded at the high quality of your drawings. You are lucky in that have a wonderful talent - I can't draw a cheque (check, I think you say). It's a much greater talent than photography.

yeah saw the same concert he put on in New York on T.V, it was a great concert, most of our neighbors at that time, (we were living in an apartment) all got together at one apartment, with the biggest large screen tv to watch his concert, made a party out of it, lots of fun LOL, well good night, talk to you later.

Hi Nancy! Today I finally got around to submitting the Ebony smilie you made for me. Gath is probably still recovering from the pub crawl so don't know when he'll get around to approving it! It's so nice to have time all to myself while Rob's up in NC. I'm really enjoying myself! Today I had Ebony in the pool with me! Figured maybe I can teach her to do laps instead of taking her for walks. It will be cooler & quicker! How is your Mom doing after her collision with Sky? Hope she's feeling better.

Seems appropriate for me to use the Ebony smilie for you first since you're the one who sent it to me - thanks again! We have signed up Ebony for a 10 week puppy class at Petsmart starting tomorrow. Rob will still be in NC so I'll take her to the first one, but then we will alternate so we BOTH learn the proper disciplining & do not confuse her with mixed signals. She is so much more active now! I've had to 'babyproof' the house & put things up out of her reach. We try to keep her well supplied with proper things to chew on, but she often prefers HER choices to ours! Glad your mom is doing well. Bet you all must be very good at Scrabble! Have you ever tried Boggle? Have a good weekend. I know I will!!!

Kind of in and out today, Yardwork to catch up on that did'nt get done last weekend,so will check in now and again when I come in to cool off, supposed to get to 102 degrees today but some beers later will help, talk to you later
