Hiya Mickey, That seemed like a farewell speech tonight on the posts. Must admit that I rarely read all the posts - find I just haven't time..
Today though I wanted to read the discussions about the new "friends" link. Gotta admit that it scared the wits out of me to have that link and the responsibility of having a labeled "friend". Does it mean that you share pictures or just have more responsibility to talk to people and "SHARE". I'd prefer friendship without the label.
Most days don't I even get on to do the puzzles. Still I can get addicted when I have time to spare. How are your kids going? Hope everything is OK for you. Still look back fondly to the fun we had in the chat room in the days when things were new and raw on the sudoku site... and the days before I decided that I was spending WAY too much time on the computer. :)

Michelle, It is tough to post sometimes. Also sometimes difficult to read through the posts. I agree, it isn't as fun as it was 2 years ago, but there are still many wonderful people on this site. Take care.

Michelle, I have only just got on now and missed all the hoopla that went on today. If it was enough to cause you to take the decision you have taken, I am glad I missed it and glad it was removed.
I, for one, will be sorry to see you go from the site, but regardless, I hope we can continue the friendship I feel we have formed.

Mickey, you and your family have been in my thoughts. I know here we were shrouded in smoke all yesterday, but there really were no fires threatening Cockatoo.
I hope you and yours are safe and that there is no immediate danger to you.

Mickey, set your radio to 774 AM. It is Radio ABC and it is the emergency services network. They do constant updates on all the alerts. The fire that was threatening Healesville last night was around the Don Road, and the winds were coming from the south so that is why it was affecting Healesville, because the winds would be blowing the fires in a northerly direction. Woori would be safe from that one due to the direction of the wind.

Winge away all you want, girl! You can even try CP winge-ing, if you like! Look at the length of time people have been sending you messages of safety from the fires - almost a month - I can see why you'd need to winge! Maybe of frustration won't put out the fires, but they are good for the soul!

Mickey you have every right to whinge - just go for it! It's been a very stressful, thoroughly unpleasant month, and everyone is feeling pretty rotten, so don't try to bottle it up: let it out here! Then you can go back to your family without feeling the urge to tun amok ... ; (Well, I hope so!) Just hang in there - it WILL get better!
