Hi Anne! Dang - just typed a comment & lost it all!! Starting over Thanks for your comments on my page & on Flickr photos. We had a great time with Jane, Jaime, Celia & Bryce in Oct. In Nov. we'll get to see a friend from Switzerland who arrives on Sat. for a 2 week visit & our daughter Wendy & family who will come from NC for a short FL vacation from Nov. 5-10. We'll have a houseful, & I'll probably get even further behind on Sudoku events than I am already!! Hope you & your family are all well.

Loved the joke today Anne it really tickled me. So the photo is of Albany, it is nice to see the town view you get a feel for the size of the town. Which side do you live on from the photograph? Take care xx

ROFL!!! That housecleaning tip is precious! Will definitely use that one. Only problem no fireplace. In Los Angeles, never gets cold enough to use one. Have to find something like a mantle to display the get well cards!

Gosh Anne, it never rains but it pours when it comes to kids, does it? I'm pleased that Johnathon is better but sorry to hear about Jaimee. Thankfully Rebecca can get the time off but I hope all is well very soon.
As for here, things are progressing at a pleasing rate. Unfortunately, my son and his partner have to vacate their rental because the landlord is going to demolish it and put up townhouses! They are choking that area with them. The upside of that is they are looking over this side of town, so rather than be an hour away, we shall only be about 20 mins. Two oldest daughters are working in the family business, even the one who had her last ever school exam on Tuesday. They seem to be getting on ok, fingers crossed! Youngest daughter is still an absolute charm, in fact, check out Toy Elephant's page. No bias here but I think she is an amazing artist. Hubby is extremely well and I just go through each day believing that every day you wake up is a good day.
Thanks heaps for popping in and cheers for the new page. Hope you have a great weekend and will chat again soon.

Dear Anne;
Your picture of the mountain is very fine. I have never been there, although I have visited many mountains in many elsewhere locations and have so developed a feeling for mountain scenery from the time I was a child. There are unique qualities in both the scenery illutrsated in your picture and in your way of composing it. You have taken an outstanding view and taken a marvellous picture of it and achieved a most rewarding result. Thank-you for sharing this with us, and I am delighted that my poem did not upset you in any way

Hello Anne, how is Jaimee now? I just saw your post on André's page about it. The symptoms sound remarkably similar to asthma. Has the doctor considered trying Ventolin. Every year, my youngest daughter gets a seasonal cough, we actually call it a BARK! If I didn't know better, I would think it was whooping cough but around the time of season change from autumn to winter, she starts coughing and the only thing that relieves it is a puff of Ventolin. She never uses it any other time of the year.

No worries at all Anne.
I had my youngest checked out as well, many times, with the same result. Being an asthmatic myself, I thought I would give it a try, much to my husband's displeasure and whatdya know! It stopped the cough there and then. When I next took her to the doc, I confessed what I'd done and the doc asked what the result was. I told her and from then on, if I hear D#3 coughing around the trouble time of the year, one or two puffs when necessary and bingo, she stops.
All the very best to your daughter and grandie, it's no fun when the kids are crook!

Hi Anne, sorry for responding so late but things really got hectic for last couple of months. Got so involved in settling my younger daughter that I was in virtual spin and picture was quite hazy. It seems to be getting clearer now and hopefully she will be settled soon.
Sure enough a beautiful town where you live. Enjoy every moment. Will keep in touch now. bye and take care

Anne: Thanks for your permission to use your photograph alongside my poem on my page.
The method is sometimes a bit hit and miss with respect to text clarity, but with yours I think it turned out it turned out OK.
Hope you like it.

Gday Anne, what time did you ring? We are always the first to go, leave 'em wanting more, that's what I say! We had left by about 1.30 your time. What a shame I missed the chance to talk, I feel like we would fit like gloves.
It is my goal to get to WA next year, Hubby and I owe it to ourselves to go away for a decent break, something we haven't been able to do, since our honeymoon, nearly 25 years ago! I will definitely catch up with you then. Hope the B & B is open to all!

What a shame! It was a large square table and I was at the opposite end of the phone rotation! Coulda been visiting the ladies, it was a long trip from home! Plus, followed hubby's directions...got caught in traffic, didn't we? Last to get there, first to leave. We're shockers!

Hi Anne, opened a bottle of wine yesterday when a friend dropped in, didn't look at it properly except to check it was a Sav Blanc, because that's what she likes! Noticed when I was putting stuff in the fridge that it is a Wignalls 2006. There's enough left for me for tonight! (It came with a box from Wine Selectors - cover different regions each time. The WA selection was earlier in the year). Anyway here's a glass for you to!

Hi! Anne
Sorry for being late with my answer. We were not able to try the piroshkis this past weekend because the old lady had some other avatars (should i use this word?) in mind and did not want to change them. We will see when she able to work this plate. Thankyou anyhow.
