Anne, andré, settle down girls. There's a little boy in the photo whose cheeks are burning with embarassment.

No, Rosemary I bet the little girls tried to hit him - that's what all little girls do when they are trying to get a little boy's attention.
Don't ask me why we used to do it, though, Ian.
Hi Ian, great photo. Which school? What part of Sydney are you from? I'm at Cherrybrook.
I enjoy the photos you post on the games. You are a very talented photographer.

Rosemary, I remember only one pretty little blue-eyed redhead who was my special favourite.
Rose, actually I was born in Essendon, Victoria and spent the first 19 years in and around Melbourne. Then I joined the Air Force and became something of a nomad.
Thank you for the nice comments about my photos, I try to make them interesting.

Hi Ian, dropped in to check out your pics..WOW!! You have a great album and no doubt many, many more photos. You certainly have an eye for the beauty in our world. So many people don't really 'see' what they are looking at. It's nice to know there are others who really appreciate the beauty we have. It is there for us all to see if only we take the time to 'look'. Keep up the great work

Hello, Ian. First of all I love your pictures, too. Since you like interesting photos, I thought you might like to see the rainbow cloud from Oklahoma. I don't have your e-mail, so, if you want, go to

2006/06/060619-rainbow-1
It's something to see.
Secondly, you have changed your avatar to what I think is a napping koala bear. Nice and very Oz appropriate. What was the avatar before this one? I just never could make it out. If you would just leave the answer here, I'll come back in a couple of days to get it. Thanks.

Ruby, thank you for your kind comments about my photos. I looked for the photo of the rainblw at the site you suggested but my computer told me that it could not find what I was looking for. I did get through to National Geographic though, and they suggested I do a search for the subject. I put in Rainbow and turned up a spectacular photo - is this the one you were talking about?

Ruby, secondly, my previous avatar was also a koala but it was sitting up posing for the camera. I agree it was a bit indistinct but that's what happened when I shrunk the photo. Sorry.
The original photo is on the first page of my flickr photos.

Greg, thank you for your Easter good wishes. I will certainly change my video but it might not be today - Anne has me working like a galley slave today in preparation for the arrival on our family tomorrow.
(PS - Isn't it a little too big for Jackson's nose?)

Hello Ian and Anne
I hope you both have a lovely Easter and a very relaxing time.
Ian, I tried to access that website you put on my page last night but wasn't successful. I'm not very good at things like that. I highlighted it, copied then pasted it but it said there was no site. I must have done something wrong. I will try the new one and see if I'm more successful.
Cheers
Anne

Ian thanks for stopping by.. loved the youtube.
August: Let me know when you are over as I'm travelling a fair bit then, mainly in Spain, just booked the flights.. and a couple of major birthday parties to boot in the same month. However, Milton Keynes not far and would be lovely to meet up with you both if we can arrange it.
Glad you liked the flying 'Thought' I posted it with you in mind, I've tried it and have to say that they plastered my legs quite nicely and have some fabulous signatures on them

Hi Ian, I am with you would love to have another siamese but-----. They have the most personality (good or bad) of any cat I have seen. Ours was female, she hated to be left at home and yes she loved to ride in the car. Would shred all the T paper and paper towels if left. Had her for 15 years, I do miss her.
The Orchid has some big Latin name and haven't looked it up to see if it has a common name. The nice thing about orchids they stay in bloom for a long time this one is in it's third week.
