Hello Greg,

Thanks for taking the time to visit! No job, but the house is looking wonderfully clean.
Seems like it has been pretty cold over there of late. Hope your beavertails haven't frozen!
Mamacita 2  From PA.
Hi CG, Just dropping in to see what's going on in your world , beside the cold. I expected to be greeted with a roaring fire, but you don't seem to see the need for a one. I am still without my smilies, don't know why I lost them as soon as I did, but am looking forward to their return. Where did you find the great street sign....I love it. Take care, and thanks for the continuing laughs.

Thank you very much my friend for all your birthday wishes and the wonderful present. It's been a lovely day from start to finish and I think I'm feeling a bit tired now and it's only 9:35pm. Can you imagine how I'm going to feel next year!!!

Thanks for the visit, Greg. This was a major step for me to open a Flickr account and put pictures on my page. Don't give up on me. I will try to post pictures with comments soon. I am technically challenged! Thanks for the encouragement. Please come and visit again soon.

CG - any jokes for those of us who are just married?

Thanks for the joke Greg. As far as who just got married, I meant, 'just married' not necessarily 'happily married'

And if you are funnin' with me I 'just' got married almost 24 loooooooooooooooooong years ago!

Hello Greg,
Have I told you about my problem when I go for interviews that I start cracking jokes when I get nervous? Just did it again....

Hope all is well and the beavertails aren't too cold!

I'm really at work but logged in.

A very Happy Valentine's Day to you my friend.
Mamacita 2  From PA.
Happy Valentine's Day Greg. Thanks for the concern and the thoughts. Sully is improving and life, while very busy, is returning to a more even keel. I just need to remember to recharge my batteries on a timely basis. Good jokes bing offered and enjoyed. Thanks. As you can see I don't have my sp status back yet. My membership isn't up until this coming Saturday, but I lost the smilies as soon as I signed up to send my check. Every now and then, they show up for a comment or two, then disappear again. Should be returning again soon I expect.

Greg - I just viewed your photos on Flickr. They are great! Those beavertails look simply delicious with the sugar and cinnamon. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Greg - I'm a little late in getting around to visit your page. But am sure glad I did. Thanks particularly for your pictures on Flickr. My Dad grew up in Alice Arm (at the top of the Portland Canal) in the '20s and '30s and told me tales of hiking over your glacier down into Stewart; and I had the privilege to spend nine years working on the Nisga'a Treaty (which resulted in Alice Arm becoming part of the Nisga'a Nation), all without managing to get up to see the beautiful country presented in your fine photos. So thank you so much for bringing that country home to me through your lens.

Hiya Greg, thanks for your concern...actually all is well now...I had my grandmother break her hip a while ago and she was in hospital waiting for surgery....She had it done and is now in rehab...she's not doing too bad for a 93 year old...so it has been quite busy of late.
I have been on a few times, but I never see many people online or in chatroom. Guess I just miss everyone. LOL

CG - thanks for looking at the flickr pictures. We really enjoyed the quick trip to Colorado. The mystery fellow is my son-in-law after he finished cutting down a massive oak that was killed by lightning in our back yard.

Hi Greg - 19/02/07
Thanks for visiting me. Yeah the name Simba is from the Lion King. He might not be looking like a cat, but I am sure that he has the strength of a lion. He he he. Anyway, you soon will be on your 12th page. People you have to visit me as well, so that I can get on my 3rd.....

hi Greg how are you - you know I'm not really a 'Fi' - never have been called like that, just always Fiona! Yes the weather has been great with us lately - really warm and mild, hasn't been like a normal winter in the least - the ski resorts in the Pyrenees are having a difficult time, but I'm not complaining - I hate the cold! Problem is the garden is all to pot in the sense that the flowering cherry flowered before Xmas when it should just be starting now! And that's just one example. No doubt we'll pay for all this good weather at the wrong time of year one of these days! Cheers for now, nice to hear from you x

Hello Greg, thanks for sending me the carton of milk, it is exactly the one I use.
A 'smoko' is just an Aussie slang work for morning or afternoon tea. I'm not quite sure how it came about, but possible from the days when the stockmen brewed their tea over a camp fire.

Hi CG

I haven't been around to visit for ages. Had an awful lot on recently. I got your message on my page, thanks. I just find that when there's people on site who are so negative that I really can't find something nice to say. I try to stick to my motto, which is from 'Bambi' ..'If you can't say sumfin' nice...then don't say nuthin at all'

Hi Greg, Thanks for the post on my totally undecorated site! Have always enjoyed your comment/jokes. I had hoped to drive my Mustang in the race up there a while ago! I lived in upstate NY and have visited your beautiful city a couple of times - never in winter though. I hear your ice festival is lovely. Always glad to have more sweets to munch on! Come back again!

Feb. 25 Hi Greg! Tim Tams are multi-layer wafer & chocolate (various kinds) cookies. They are quite yummy, but my guess is beavertails are better, at least the chocolate ones! Bigger is better, right??!! I hope I get to come to Ottawa someday & try a real one. The virtual one you brought me was very good, though!

what a lovely bunch of coconuts, be careful letting them all hang out whilst bicycle riding!

Well, don't I feel left out. The only picture I see is the one of your flag. I will use my imagination (tee-hee) until I can get back to your page.

By the way---we finally got snow. About 10 inches here, and closer to 18 further north. I'll be riding this weekend!

GC, Noughs been said bout them dar cocoNuts, so I'll just move on. Thanks for the visit, and the delightful Beavertails, both are always most appreciated. The new page came about simply because I had to renew my membership, and Gath evidently has not yet been able to add renewing members without the second page. I'm sure he'll find a way. Or, my interpertation is that he saw how special I am, and felt I deserved two pages... ohhhhh, sorry, I can't type too much more..seems I broke my arm patting myself on the back saying how great I am...rotf, broken arm and all.

Greg, this is the message I was trying to post. It had been blocked by a swear filter. I didn't exactly use a swear word(although I know plenty) but the filter picked it up anyway.
'Hi Greg, thanks for dropping by. We are both well but Anne is still in England and won't be back for a while yet. In the meantime, batching is the pits!
I love your photos of India.
I have just put another half dozen photos on my page - if you are interested.'
