Hi Judy, I really love the birds in my garden and any where else I see them for hat matter. I'm lucky with my photos because the birds are relatively quiet and present lots of opportunities. I did a weekend camera use course, bought a better quality camera, that I usually leave on automatic and use as point and shoot. Most are rubbish photos, but every now and then they come up trumps.

We are supposed to have Spotted Pardalotes here, but I have never seen one. For the first time this year a pair of Striated Pardalotes have raised chicks in our woodshed, but they have disappeared now. Do you have a tall eucalyptus canopy where you live, because I read that the ones you have live mainly in the tall canopy and are heard more often than seen? You are lucky to have them regularly your bird bath.
