Andre, peeps are marshmallow shaped as bunnies chicks, etc. coated and decorated in sugar. I am renown for saving them. They get real hard after a coupe of weeeks, but never go bad. I have a box I've kept in my cabinet for a few years as a joke now, but I set them out as decoration. This year I found some individually wrapped--don't know what I' do with them after Easter though.

Just couldn't let Easter go by without sending you a Valrona chocolate egg - very exclusive, I hope you know!! Have a lovely Easter. What part of England are you in? I was born in Lancashire, brought up in Essex, and lived in the West country for a number of years.

andré - I'm having a real problem trying to find the 'cello song' - there is one clip but with the N/York cityscape - it detracts too much from the song. Let me know if you ever stumble over it. x

For Anne/Vermont and Billy....

Night hauntings; verse one..

it is done the rhyme of all time
the speed of the pen quite divine
dipped in ink a swift mark best
the writing of time only a test
letters formed and spread on the fold
a tale forever needed to be told
swift of the hand as the words tell it all
all of the life of the little red ball

Verse two..

meaningless round balls that are red
tasting of plastic processed and dead
no bruise on your skin
just a shell so thin
once on an island you tasted like wine
juicy and fruity, smell was divine
large and small you stood so tall
shared with balsamic on a plate enthrall
lingering pleasure soft on the palate
now you look as a piece of granite
sleek and shiny looking so good
but empty of life to my taste bud

end x

André, I've been neglecting you. I've just had a peek at yoour Iceland photos and I think they're terrific. I love your YouTube song too.
Did you get the message that Anne and I are planning a visit to UK in around August to attend the interment of her poor old Mum at Aberdovey in Wales. We will be staying in the vicinity of Milton Keynes. Any chance of a meeting?
Cheers

'In another life I could have been more useful..' (Burnt Toast 2007 b.c. (before crumbs))
For Anne/V and of course my fellow inmate Billy without whom this would have been impossible..

don’t utter bread but savour
the flavour
buttered up crisp with a dip of the berry
not on your nelly
too late
at this rate
200 degrees sealing my fate
Blackened, wizened in smoke of blue
What have I done to the soft golden hue
Yeast curled up and flour that is done
The heat rising up to a mighty sum
Inedible charcoal twisting the square
Oh the cardboard of bread barely there
Burnt toast .. burnt toast
Singed and scalded never to be
Oh for the softness of bread to see

andré, thanks for replying, I'll keep you informed as our plans develop.
I loved your definition of flying, but that's not the way I taught my students to fly - too many broken legs. I note that your legs were plastered and I'm wondering if that was all that was plastered?
BTW, the real art of flying is to return to the ground at a place of your choosing and in a manner of your choosing.

Hi André. Just finished listening to the Scott Matthews CD all the way through for the first time. Enjoyed, but I'll give it a so-so until I lsten a second time. I lked 3 or 4 of his songs but I would have liked him to show more of his guitar skills that he teased people with in his Musical Interlude and other short insertions. Was this his first (promotional) CD? Glad I got it!

andre,
As soon as I read this, I thought of you.
'Save the earth. It's the only planet with chocolate.'
We've only just finished our dark chocolate easter bilbies. Took two weeks to open the packet and about 5 seconds to eat them.

andré, thnk you for stopping by at my page and commenting on my tribute to Anzac Day. As the day has finished I have now changed it and introduced a bit of 'kulture' onto the page.
I have been in touch with a (Scottish) friend of yours and have asked her to pass my email address on to you so that we can chat about our forthcoming trip.
