Thank you, Sarah, for directing me to the original 3&4 puzzle post and thank you, Wombat, for reposting it. I've had a relaxing evening interspersing Wombat's 3&4 with a couple episodes of Father Brown. Our Netflix stops often to buffer so I went from mystery to puzzle to mystery to puzzle etc for a couple hours. Quite pleasant, actually.

I can't believe I'm pulling out the smilie first. Another busy week as soon as Monday morning makes it's way round to SW Michigan, so I better get as good of a night's sleep as I can.

Oops. Snowbird has already tiptoed off to bed. Well then, I shall do the same.

My parents' secret to such a long marriage was to get married when they were 20. My father had graduated from college and was about to enter the Navy during WWII. Their wedding picture looks like a prom photo.

One of the many things I have yet to deal with are all my father's letters from the Philippines. I plan to give them to the National Museum of American Jewish Military History, but I want to read them first. They are actually interesting!

Oh, lookie here. I can get BOTP twice in one day.
