TWO WAYS TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.

My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'

'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'

'My goodness!' says my wife, 'Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'

Just to say I posted 'yesterday' to say more about my 2 pics which were used Monday and Sunday, but I only just got in before midnight struck over Oz, so nobody will have seen them!

Jane, at a class reunion several years ago, I noticed a classmate sitting at the far end of our table and commented to my wife how much she looked like about 40 miles of bad road. As the conversation around the table progressed it finally came out that she was sitting as judge of the district court in Wyandotte County. That's the Kansas City area. Sure was glad I kept my mouth shut no further than my discreet wife. At our next reunion, I shared this with the judge and she got a big laugh out of it. My parole hearing is in 3 years.

This Venezuala lake seems to express similar colouring as the Mekon River. Sunset reflections infintely modulated by disturbed sediment

celia~~~i did make that quilt, but i just tie quilts. i'm not that good. my mother makes em, i just tie them. that was one i tied for our little granddaughter.

New U-tube - THE CORRIES performing FLOWER OF SCOTLAND

Saw them on television in Scotland in 1978. Bought 3 of their albums a couple of years later at a Scottish Dance & Games Festival in So. Calif. I would have loved to seen them in concert. They play many different instruments as well as sing Scottish Folk Songs.

The next several days, I will spotlight on the Corries songs like - Loch Lomond & even a slightly funny tune. Hope you will enjoy them as much as I have!

Roy died this month - 17 years ago. Flower of Scotland is his song.
