I arrive to try and welcome you to your page, by bringing you some eggnog and a cake so that you will not be caught off guard by the onslaught of visitors who will be comming to welcome you to sp status. I've left the ice cream for the eggnog in the freezer and the nutmeg on the counter. Flowers are on the table beside the cake knife. I think perhaps some coffee, and tea may be more appealing to some right now rather than the egg nog, so its also there with sugar and cream if needed. Welcome to your page and hope you have as much fun as I have had with mine. I'll call on you properly, once you've had time to settle in. Hi Celia! Too tired for an e-mail tonight so thought I'd just drop a line here. Hope you had a good flight home on Friday & enjoyed your riding lesson Sat. & dressage observation today. Asa was very quiet throughout her lesson yesterday. Think she was surprised at all the things to think about while sitting on a horse! At the stables they had TWO litters of six week old kittens! Had all I could do not to bring one home! By the way, Jack was even sociable with Asa this weekend. Think you helped him overcome his shyness! Thanks.

Hi Celia, Thanks for the visit and the birthday wishes. As for your question, I haven't really dieted, I have just started watching how much I eat, and not eating anything about two or three hours before going to bed, and drinking lots and lots of water. I eat any and everything that I've always eaten, nothing is forbidden. I also exercise more at the gym and walk about a mile a day in good weather. My dog has also lost weight(much needed) while eating less and walking with me. Thanks for noticing.lol

Celia, I thought I would stop by your place and say Hi! I visited Toronto many years ago as a teen for dancing competitions and I always wanted to go back because it was so nice. Hello Celia,I am bringing Florida oranges for you and a peppermint for Heidi, I hope she can have it.
I started riding about 5 years ago but I only trail ride. I have a Morgan mare who lives at my house. She is over 30 but still has plenty of get up and go when I ride her. We do not ride much this time of the year because it is so hot.

ok celia i saw what quilt you are talking about...and yes i did make that one for our grandaughter when she was tiny. so yes, i guess i do quilt in a way. would love to see yours sometime.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the Africa photos. Our trip to Tanzania was one of the most amazing and exciting things we've ever done. Hopefully we'll go again in a few years and take our grandchildren when they are old enough. I have more safari pictures posted on another website and should you ever be interested in seeing them let me know and I'll forward you the link. Don't give up on your dream of going, if that is something you still want, although with your horseback riding there may be little time left for much travel!

Congratulations on taking up horseback riding when you turned 60. I enjoyed your photos. Heidi is a lovely horse and your cats are gorgeous (and I love their names).

Celia, just stopping by to say hi. Your cats are great, they are both so lovely. I have never tried riding like you do, but have rode since I was very young. I have been told there is a big difference in the two riding styles. I was in Florida the month before you. I also met Kathy while there. Saw the picture you you and your Mom on her Flickr. Come visit when you have the time.

Gday Celia, been a while since I dropped in to pay a visit. I've been able to put some pics up since I was last here so if ever you're in the neighbourhood, drop into my page. Help yourself to a drink or a cuppa, and take a stroll through the garden. Find a seat in the shade and meet my family. I'm glad you like cats because they're likely to jump on your lap as soon as you sit down! Just shoo them off if they become a nuisance.
