HI CELIA, thanks for the kind words about my attempts at quilting. I really enjoyed each quilt I did, and I cannot decide what I like most, designing (or adapting a design, shucks, a pattern is just a suggestion heeheh) picking fabrics, or doing the binding. I LOVE handwork, yet I machine piece and quilt! I think that is because I also like to see how the quilt is going to look and get impatient.

By all means, show my work if you like! I put comments about some of them on the sudoku quilters page, if you have not seen those comments yet.

The heart quilt is just the quilt top, I have not received a photo after it was quilted and binding applied. I think that binding was a multi colored, pieced binding using some of the fabric from the blocks, and the girl binding said that helped to frame it and balance it nicely. This was a guild group effort, and my quilting guild is a cyber guild. We keep the post office busy with our group effort quilts and blocks going around the world!

Be sure to let me see your quilts when you get them photographed, I love show and tell hehehe.

Celia, sorry to have never come to your page. Celia, thanks for your note. I'm sorry too that we won't be able to meet in Toronto. Have a wonderful time with Kathy and Rob and tell them Hi. I've emailed Kathy several times and continuously enjoy Rob's internet humor ... many times through Ed. If you ever do get to Northern California, I'd love to meet you there.

Welcome back Celia. Plans have changed about our coming back to your area this spring. We're going to ride a paddlewheeler on the Mississippi River instead. Still intend to get back up your way again sometime.
