Lynda; where we are it takes about 15-20 minutes to get 'downtown', but I actually live in a much smaller suburb (probably a little bigger than where Ruby is)

I don't really know what is normal, we can get gale force winds, mini tornados and quite a bit or rain. In past years the rain bands have been very wide, long periods of rain and wind, nowadays we get short sharp bursts of rain. The forecasters tend to make the weather sound awful, that way they are covered. Up here in the hills our power supplies are overhead on poles, these can get broken by trees falling. So we don't like it too windy.

It is lunch time here, so to anyone left bye for now.

Julie, it's a parade followed by a festival. I'e been here for 25 yrs and the Strut was around for a bit before then.

Helooooooooo....all I ever seem to get is an echo in here....perhaps its tooooo clean and folks are afraid to mess it up and enough life....Heyy what the hayyyyyyy...I'll just toss a few pillows around and perhaps unstack a the chairs, add a couple of books...okay...there...even set out some glasses for some bubbly, and left the chipsand pretzels on the counter...lets see if we can't get a few warm bodies in here now so we can have a chat.....I'll go see if I can round any up.

Can't believe the state of this place. I thought Rola aid she cleaned it up last night. The chairs are all over the place and bubbly glasses everywhere! Now everybody knows I'm quite partial to a wee drop now and then but 9.15am is even a little early for me. Although those chippies do remind me that I am a bit peckish, just duck out and grab some yoggy for brekka.

Well, no clean glasses, empty bubbly bottles, could have left me some !!
