Good morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

Viv, sorry you still have to wait a few more days. I hope that when the neurosurgeon looks, she decides she can do something and not make you wait. Enjoy the quiet time.

Heidi, good luck with Timmy at the vet today.

Julie, try to stop in and let us know all is well. It sounds like you have a busy few weeks coming up.

Gail, enjoy your reunion. Hope it is a great day for you.

Don't remember much else of what I have read. Apologies to anyone I forgot to name. I do think of all of you.

The cold has broken so I am not coughing like I was before. Should get more sleep tonight. Tomorrow night we are taking Laura to Rock Eisteddfod as Belinda has a group from her school performing. She has done all the work with them.

SO glad the cold is giving up it's grip on you, June. They may call them the "Common" cold, but they can be totally debilitating.

Timmy is at the Vet Clinic. He made me feel so guilty for leaving him there. Poor puppy acted like he had been returned to the shelter. I promised him that this would never happen again.

I just got an from MizT's sister, about Al!!! He's in the hospital!

"He's having shortness of breath and fatigue. They kept him overnight in order to run more tests. I'll let you all know what he finds out."

Morning all.

Thanks for letting us know, Heidi. Oh dear is right, Brenda.

Hubby is taking tomorrow off and we are going out for the day. No firm plans, just drive ... wherever. There is a place about an hour from here where freighters go through one of the locks of the St. Lawrence Seaway - we might spend some time there. I'm thinking of getting a few things for a picnic so it won't be so expensive. It is my one month anniversary today for quitting smoking and that's how we're going to celebrate. I am so looking forward to it!!!!

Had a good nights sleep. Still have the cold but feel much better. Theresa, pack a nice lunch. Splurge a little on what you have saved on not buying cigarets.
I do not like the news about Al. Sending prayers and hugs for them both.

Busy day so far. Dropped Timmy off at Vet's... napped... took finish mower in to get a new belt (40 minute drive each way) ... picked up two 15 ft. tall Weeping Willows on the way home (Robert is planting them now lear the road for privacy for IH's new office)... in one hour I'll be picking up Timmy.... I have to be home for a 5:30 Schwan's delivery (frozen foods)... then I'm taking the Arab mare to the trainers, who may have found a home for her. I can't keep her- she's attacking my Gypsy Vanner filly.

Morning all,
Quick drop in as I'm working again today. Not swearing when it's a good thing. Well, it's kind of a good thing. I'm feeling a bit bla about it, but also glad to have the money coming in...

The first thing that popped into my head was 'MizT told them about this ages ago!' and I really hope it is something minor and easily fixed!! Sending thoughts and wishes over the ocean..

Glad Timmy's op went well and that he is happy to be home.

June, I'm glad you slept well. A good rest is essential to getting better and you have been too busy!! I hope this means you start to feel much better over the next few days...

Gotta go, running late...

Leaving at 2pm on our weekend getaway to the Sunshine Coast. So looking forward to it. It's been a hard several weeks. Just need some new surroundings, a sea view (best relaxation for me) and to put my feet up for a while.
Spent hours at the Accountants (or did it just seem like it) yesterday sorting out Mum's and our taxes - all get refunds, woo hoo! (Mum's, of course, goes into her estate).

I am done with running around for the day. All i have left to do is make supper, then crash. Tomorrow I have to pick up the finish mower and probably the borrowed tractor. It's been at the repair shop an hour away, and I need to pick it up and return it to Don, who needs it this weekend.

Timmy doesn't trust me right now. He doesn't want to get anywhere near me. He hates car rides, and he had a rough day. He's blaming me, rightly. It was my fault. I promised him it won't happen again.

Thinking about MizT and Al.

Theresa, Woo Hoo - it's been one month. Enjoy your picnic.

Cyn - Enjoy your weekend at the beach. I love long weekends with sea views.

I'm trying to organise a holiday to Adelaide later in the month. Hubby and I have never been and are thinking of staying in the city for the week and just day tripping around. My alternative is to stay closer to the beach and day trip from there. I don't want to keep packing bags and moving on especially when I'll be the one carrying the bags and driving.

Al

"Because of his continued breathing problems, Al will have a tracheotomy put in tomorrow by the ENT. All the heart tests he had looked normal, thankfully.

I'll post again after the procedure to let you know how he is doing."

Vicki, because Adelaide is not very big, day-tripping from Glenelg (nice beach suburb) is not too hard to do, though it would be easier from the city if you are catching tour buses. If you have your own car though, the beach is an ideal place to base.

Gail, I might take you up on your offer for help with Adelaide. We are hoping to go about the 20th and stay for a week. Now I just need to organise flights, accommodation and car hire.

Greetings and Salutations to Everyone!

I think I'll be brief tonight; I'm completely exhausted. Hubby and I and 2 other members of the woodturning club spent the day in one of their shops making platforms for kids to stand on and shields to place between lathes to prevent anyone from getting injured by flying wood pieces in classes. The wife of the man whose shop we worked in made a lovely lunch for us and brought us water mid-afternoon, as the workshop was getting pretty hot. We were on our feet most of the day. (I reminded hubby that I wouldn't have been able to do that almost 2 years ago before having my knees replaced.)

June, I'm so glad to hear that your cold is better! Sleep well! I hope Laura enjoys the Rock Eisteddfod and hope Belinda's group did well!

Gail, I hope you are also feeling better! Have you heard from Chloe? I hope she's enjoying herself!

Heidi, thank you for conveying messages from MizT's sister regarding Al! I hope he is doing much better. Shortness of breath and fatigue are not good!

MizT, thinking of you and Al and hope this is nothing important but just a little blip that can be easily "fixed."

Theresa, I hope you and your hubby have a lovely day celebrating your 30-days being smoke-free! Congratulations! Have fun and a yummy picnic!

Heidi, what a busy day! What a shame that the Arab mare and the new Gypsy Vanner filly couldn't get along! I hope the vet had found a good new home for the Arab! So glad Timmy made it through surgery well and was glad to return home! I'm sure he'll be more trusting of you tomorrow!

Suzy, I hope you had a great day at school!

Tami, I hope Mitchell's report gets a great grade!

Vicki, a trip to Adelaide sounds wonderful! Enjoy yourselves!

Hoping all of you have had/are having a great day! Sending {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, flowers, love, positive thoughts and prayers to all! (The Smilies aren't working for me right now.) Good Night!Greetings and Salutations to Everyone!
