I have not vanished, just big fibro flare here. I am not fit company, so till I recover I am making myself scarce. I am reading, getting comfort from hearing all your news and goings on.

My boil came back, I went back to urgent care, I have an appointment Monday to have a bit of surgery on it. this should clear it up this time. Had many boils, never had to have them cut, always a first.

Alie has a few big weeks coming up. Thursday night Forever Archie is in a band competition, Saturday they are performing in Wollongong. Next Thursday is the grand final of the talent quest (2 songs) then Friday and Saturday she is singing 6 songs in a sort of Eisteddfod. And what has she been doing? Writing songs! Well, she was, we're watching Hello Dolly right now.

MizT, take care and I hope the boil is fixed soon. Something I have not had.
Suzie, hope Alie does well in all her competitions. Do not worry if she is writing songs rather than practicing.

Forgot to tell you that while Belinda was at the wedding her mare had a foal. A colt. She has been awake for nights waiting and then missed the birth (The mare was being held at special stables so no worry about there being problems.

Last time it was an 8 page report on Medieval music. This week it is a report on Renaissance music. Still have not gotten his grade on the first report.

Tami, I hope Mitchell learns to type soon so he doesn't need as much of your help with his assignments... Just flashed on a computer teacher at school. He tells a story about learning to type in the 1960's. What use would anyone see for a man typing back then? Which is his point with the kids. You never know when you will use the things you learn in high school. It's like putting dots at random on a wall and one day the dots join up and the more dots you have the better off you'll be.

SUZY, do not like the new facebook, cannot make heads or tails of it! I know a lot of you play games, but that is ALL I am seeing now, requests for game stuff. I have NO idea what it is people are wanting, or how to give it to them. I might could find my real posts on there if I could figure how to get rid of the game stuff. Is there a secret?

Feeling a bit better this afternoon. This morning was so bad, I cold not even remember I should take pain meds when it is that bad! I just kept crawling back in bed between stuff Al needed. Remembered this afternoon, and feeling human again, well almost.

Tomorrow I go to get that boil taken care of. Of course it is not nearly as sore, does not feel like a big stick every time I move. Always what happens, just getting appointment with doc cures the problem. I have a much longer drive than I thought, and forecast is for rain. NOT what I wanted, but I will survive.

Joy cam for a while today, pulled out boxes from under bed, but we did not find my long sleeve shirts. Must be out in the storage building, drats. Of course it was dark by time I realized we needed to look there, and no electricity in that building, only one with no electricity.

OK, need to get to bed, a lot to do tomorrow before I leave at 11 am. BIL will come to stay with AL, and stay the night. His partner is sending our dinner, yeah and leftovers from dinner today will be for lunch. I do not have to cook.

Been a bit slow on here today - maybe due to the new FB sudoku group - MizT - you'll find an invitation to it, it is a group started by Kathy (Valrico) - she picked up every one she knew from this site and a few of us added to it. It means we can get together and talk (in private, only the group can see the posts) there as well as here.

MizT, I'll send you a PM on facebook with some tips to help you get rid of the games. I've made a list of people playing my game and only they can see my game posts now, but most people have a lot more friends than I do and that would be more cumbersome for them..

Thanks to those who sent me get well wishes because it must have worked - today is the first day since last Wednesday that I have stayed up/been awake more than lying down/sleeping/sneezing/coughing/spluttering/choking etc etc.
I am on the mend - had to adjust my day with Hayley and Chloe tomorrow, didn't feel I could cope - that will be Friday now.

Can you believe that Lachlan gets home on Thursday? He was a little bit homesick on Friday night, his first with his host family so a bit of culture shock. Even though Karin hasn't heard again from him, she has got daily emails from the mother, whose english is basic but ok - and she says he's enjoying himself and is a 'lovely boy'.. I could have told her that!!

By the way, I didn't have to do anything to accept the invitation to the group. The posts came up on my page, I thought 'what is that', and there was the group sitting on the left hand side of my page..

It has been hitting the fan here. We finally got a copy of Alie's report card. I knew it wasn't going to be good, she never has homework and I know that's not true, but I wasn't prepared for how bad it actually was. She will be doing work every day of the school holidays and she will be getting a talking to before she goes back after the holidays. Of course she got 95% and top grades for effort in music! Go figure...

It's interesting to note that I wouldn't put anything like that on the facebook group....
