So sorry; I didn't check the numbers before posting. Here are a couple of thoughts for the page:

“I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.” ~ Mother Theresa

“I don’t pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person; love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of; love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you.” ~ Anonymous

Well my Sis/iL got back from O?S this morning so MIL has gone home. She is a nice lady and I do get on well with her but the timing was not good and I am looking forwards to some 'just me' time. Some bits and pieces I need to chase at the shops, dropping in on friends etc.
We had a carnival day at bowls yesterday. Many players from other clubs and money to be won (a fund raiser for us) We won both games I played in yesterday but not by enough to win any money. Fun day, friendly people which is most important.
Played social bowls today and had another good win. After the rain the grass is 'slow' which is what I like!

I know Brenda, but you know what? My feelings about everything have changed a little and even though at times things suck, I feel a little more positive and excited by whatever change might come around the corner...so much so that I am even happy to say...

CHRISTMAS :)))

When is the Christmas party in Melbourne? Would love to be there.
MizT, hope the boil is soon better and no thrush or side effects. You have a lot on your plate. At least I have not had to deal with any real health problems myself while dealing with other things.
I would love to be in the sulky with you in the parade Heidi. I could even get out some of my period costumes. Plenty of sleep should rest your back.
Mama, what a worry with the hackers into your computer. I did not get that message.
Not interested in doing things on FB. Although I do notice Belinda is doing some things on my page. Sharon get rid of the FB Emails coming through to my computer but sorry I cannot help with how she did it. I miss my "computer fixer".
Theresa, pleased everything went well for your 60th. birthday. Of course the good news about your heart was the best present!
Susie, enjoy your busy school holidays. Hope Alie does catch up on some of her school work.
Tami, Suzanne, Julie and lots of others. Have read at some stage but do not want to go back a page now. Just remember I have been thinking of you.

June, nice to hear that you are now able to plan things for you and Ken to do together. You need that 'me' time after the last few years. Enjoy Cambodia, how long are you going for?
Gail, I am so pleased that you are feeling more, not sure if this is correct, up beat and optimistic about life. Anything which makes a lovely person like you happy is a bonus in life.

Hi all.
I have been attacked by Trojan Horse virus and lost everything...even all assignments on microsoft word.
Everything on the desktop has gone but we can access bookmarks. I have been scared to get onto sudoku incase I infected anyone. Greg has started to re-install stuff but it will take awhile when work gets in the way.
I am having issues at work, but cannot get into my Dr surgery until Thur arvo (have to see another Dr as mine on holidays.) Sh*t happens but stress makes it worse. At the moment,I will take 2 days off and see what the Dr thinks about my skin condition. It could be psoriasis or something else which the Centre does not what to know about.
I hope everyone is fine....will get back and catch up when I can.

Hubby went to hand surgeon yesterday for finger. Dr. does not believe in surgery, except as a last resort. Hubby really did a job on finger. He was resplinted and dr. is hoping to fix finger that way, with no permanent tendon damage.

June, November 20th, oh how wonderful if you are able to be there too. It looks like we may have quite a large interstate contingent...better start counting numbers!

Brenda, you say the sweetest things, and yes, you have picked up the right vibe. I have so much to be thankful for, and the strength to cope with the unexpected.

SO jealous!!! I wish I was going to the Melbourne Chrissy Party, too. But I'm having to be a little careful about money since a) I owe the IRS over $40,000.00, and b) I want to knock out the north side of the house next year and add a huge great room and a new laundry room that doesn't require climbing stairs.

I'm getting worried about my back. The last epidural hit the right spot, but I haven't had a pain free minute. The Doc said that if that happened, we're gonna have to have a long talk about surgery. It looks like that may be my only option left. My next appointment is for Dec. 7th. I just don't know when it would work for me to be laid up for a while. I (hopefully) will have puppies born mid-November, and they'll keep me busy until calving season starts in late February.

Heidi wish you were going to the party too!
Pretty sure GrassHopper and Mr GH are coming as well.
Off to the dentist again this morning to get my teeth cleaned, then another three filling to go (did I ever mention I hate the dentist!)
Love and Hugs to you all.

Good Morning all! I arrived home about 11pm last night, didn't sleep well and I'm going to work today. I've lots to catch up with so I'll be back later.
Melbourne Chrissie party - hmmmm, it's a bad time of the year as it's in the middle of family birthdays. I'll have to see if it can be done.

Hi all.
Heidi, you may have to figure out a way to have that surgery. How long would you be laid up for? Could Robert pick up the slack?

Snap Tami I was thinking and readying a post to say the same thing.
Heidi, you can't keep going this way, and if surgery is your last option, you MUST find the time to take care of you!!!! Ask Robert now to help find a time when it can be worked out..I know IH may not be willing to help, or would he be dependable, but you can find someone...heck...let me know and I'll try to make arrangements to give you a hand or two...BUT, you do too much for others not to be open to accepting help from others..please!
Hi all.... life goes on here...hugs to all!

Morning all,
Lots going on this morning. I was worried that other page would have a negative impact, worrying for nothing!

June, so glad you are finally going to get some 'me' time. Cambodia sounds fantastic! Bowls sounds like you are having fun. I've decided I like a slow grass too - but only because I bowled as if I was ten pin bowling!

Heidi, I know calving season is more than a one person job so you will probably wait until after then, but then you need to do what you need. Hire someone to help Robert! Ask neighbours. I know that asking for help is the hardest thing to do, but do it. Direct all operations from your bed/chair!

So Gail, what's the secret? How are you more upbeat now? I wanna know... Glad for you, want to join you, know what I mean!

So far I'm free on November 20, but I shouldn't have said that out loud as something will come up now...

Nola, I read your post and had everything crossed that you will not need the assignments anymore. That was one doozy of a Trojan! You've reminded me that I need to back up the stuff on my computer! A lot of Alie's stuff is only here and nowhere else...

OK decision made - after a lot of googling today I've decided not to try to get to the Melbourne Chrissie Bash - BUT - planning to go to Tassie in March and will be doing a stopover in Melbourne to meet the Melbourne girls then.
Somebody else might be able to make it to Melbourne at that time too! Hmmm - who could that be??

Rolanda - (Having severe flashbacks here) if I can ever find it again amongst all of our photos, there is a shot of Col and I on our last night in our old house, with a mattress on the floor, 2 chairs, and 1 tv - although all the furniture was in a truck in the driveway and the fridge was not yet loaded. I remember trying to deplete stocks in the fridge and the pantry for weeks - OMG not easy. Don't envy you.

Good Evening, Everyone! I am trying to read, but falling asleep at the "pooter." I am now allowed to mention that the reason I was MIA was because we went on a tour with our college alumni group to Ireland. Unfortunately neither of us slept more than a few minutes while on the flights, so we're pretty exhausted. I promise to read and comment, but it's going to take me a while to get caught up. (I also have tons of email to check - haven't even opened the email I use for facebook, so it is probably overflowing!

Positive thoughts, prayers, and {{{{{HUGS}}}}} for all!

Oh Wow, Julie - Ireland!!! (Been there in 1996, loved every minute of it and have not 1 drop of Irish blood in me)
Tell you what, how about we all summarise the last few weeks for you instead of vice versa?
For me - my Grandson went to Japan, back tomorrow. I had the flu last week and was mainly MIA. And my daughter is 39 today!!!

Julie, you'll never guess what went through my head. If you'd sent us an email asking for help we would have thought it was the same scam as Mamacita fell victim to.

I understand why you couldn't tell us until you got back. It's a big no-no to post online that your house is going to be empty!!

Can't wait until you are rested so that we can hear more about it!!
