Yes, Suzy - nor on Easy - it's funny how we feel cocooned here on SA - yet any man and his dog could read what we say here. I just think most people think it's a women's knitting club, or it looks boring to them so they go away. I suspect there are some lurkers getting a secret thrill out of thinking they've got one over on us - I figure if they want to live vicariously through us - woo hoo girls, we've made it!!

Re the FB sudoku group - there were 73 in it last time I looked - it will be interesting to see who stays and who pulls out.
My previous post was to Suzy about what we will talk about here as opposed to Easy or FB. Didn't realise we had turned the page.

I like having a 'like' button while talking to sudoku friends, but there a few things I don't like. eg the notifications don't take you to the post so when other people post it's often hard to find where...

This may sound bad but please let me vent. I liked the idea of a sudoku group on FB but now I am not so sure. I go there in the morning to take care of my zoo animals. There are several people having an online chat and the blue chat box keeps popping up. I close it but as soon as someone posts again, it pops back up. I don't mind the chat, but this is my quiet time and I don't want to respond right now, but can't get rid of the box. Of course it is blocking what I am trying to work with. If anyone knows how to disable the chat box, let me know.

Tami, if you mean the chat box down the bottom right - mine never ever pops up because I'm never online for chat and have the chat bar hidden. If you mean the notifications, I'm stumped!

Suzy, yes the chat box. They must have stopped the convo because the box is not popping up anymore. Or I figured out how to stop it without realizing it

I have been reading to keep up with what you are all up to.
Have had the flu and my back is paining the hell out of me so I have not been in.

I had the MRI done on my birthday and hubby cannot get the two days off work to take me to Sydney for the appt.
I have booked the XPT and will go down on the Tuesday 25th Oct. I will get off at Hornsby as I have my brother who lives at Pymble which is not far away I believe.
I can stay with him and his family and he will drive me to the neurosurgeons appt. on the Wednesday at 11.30am.
I have not seen him for about 3 years so will return home by train on Friday the 28th Oct.

Last time I was in Sydney was 18 years ago when we had that trouble with Ethan when he was born.

Okay must get to bed and try and get some sleep.
Have Campaign 17 for Avon going in Wednesday night and as usual, have heaps of orders coming in.

I need a loan of $1,800. i will refund the money to you once i get back home, I will really appreciate whatever amount you can come up with, if not all because i need to get back home.
I'll explain the situation better and refund you immediately i get back home .

Just got back from a much needed drive. We did 10 miles at a brisk trot, with one stop to visit with friends (Who fed some pears to Challenger... he doesn't like apples). We used the lightweight cart today. On Wednesday, I'll take him out again for a long drive with the surrey. Then probably a short drive on Friday. Saturday is the parade.

Hello all - thank you so much for the birthday wishes. We had supper at my daughter's place last night. Grandies had bought me presents out of their allowance - plastic flowers from The Dollar Store. They are proudly sitting on the coffee table (the flowers, not the grandies).

Viv, with a bad back the trip to Sydney will be uncomfortable no matter how you get there. I hope you have a nice time with your brother and feel well enough to do a little sight seeing while you're there.

Just back from the Lion's Club meeting. We has a lot to discuss... the parade, our upcoming chili supper, our upcoming auction (I'm in charge of the christmas tree to be auctioned) and various other stuff.

The e-mail was exactly as I posted it. I was suspicious immediately, but there was always the slight chance it was real. I did not contact the sender in case it was a scumbag hacker. Instead, I asked here on the off chance there was something to it.

Heidi, thank you for bringing the scam to our attention. I would have been suspicious immediately. Mama has a way with words that is much better than the scumbag. Still, it is important to pay attention.

Off to bed now. I just got back from a boring meeting at Mitchell's school. I almost fell asleep. See you all in the morning.

An awful wet wintry day here.

I got the email too but I didn't check my emails until after I had been to FB so I knew what it was. I probably would have gone no further with the email - but I would have contacted Mama's daughter on FB. She'd know where her mother was. If anyone gets something like that from me - don't worry, my passport has expired, I can't leave the country!! Haha!

Oh Viv - I wish your hubby could get the time off to take you to Sydney.

I was going to venture out on my own today but am still experiencing some dizziness - don't feel safe driving. Just rang hubby and for the first time in weeks he's getting an early mark so, voila, he can take me shopping.

OMG it's the 27th today - my baby girl turns 39, yes 39, tomorrow! Wahhhh! Where did the years go??

Greetings friends. Can someone tell me how to turn off the e-mails on facebook? I like the new sudoku friends page there, but not the 88 e-mails to my in box.

I did not get cut on today. the doc said because there was infection and drainage, surgery would have most probably ended in an abscess. I got FOUR injections, three of those were antibiotics, one was for pain of the injections, honest. three antibiotics to take at home, and a pill to prevent the thrush. It is a good thing I did not live further away, those last few miles home were rough, I nearly fell asleep from the pain shot.
