If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.

oooooooo, hurry up and wait with me people. We are home from the scan but she may be in labour! According to the nurse it is because of her examination and it may stop again, so far it is looking like it's a go.. only time will tell...

Keeping my fingers crossed Suzy. Let Dana know that her cyberAunts are with her in spirit, even if we can't be there in person.

Unless I forgot to write it down, nobody picked today, Mamacita picked 22nd, Brenda the 23rd. I hope they're both wrong as she is already miserable...

I'm on the other side of the planet, and I am on pins and needles here. Will it be a short or long labor? Will it be uncomplicated? Will the baby be healthy? Fingers are crossed.

Good Luck Dana! Just remember it's only a few hours out of your whole life and the present at the end is fabulous. Besides that there is always an epidural. Sending all my positive thoughts and prayers for an easy labour.

Still at home, contractions hovering between 5 and 6 minutes with the odd 3 minute one... We'll probably go up to the hospital the next time she goes under 5 minutes.

This could go on all day, Suzy.

I need to go out to the calving pasture and check for cows in labor. This'll take a while, 'cause I'm still lame.

Today would be a good day to have as your birth date - 21/2/12 - it reads the same forwards or backwards. Just filling in time until I can go home. and hugs everyone.

Now I really want her to have the baby today! Wouldn't that be a cool birthday>!

Moving back close together, but still not close enough to go to the hospital.

That would be a cool birthday indeed, Suzy. If my daughter had been born a day earlier, she would have been born on 27/9/72 - all the 9's - but, no, she waited until the 28th!

This watching and waiting!! Just hope things are progressing and it is all over very soon and all is well with Dana and the baby.

I was a day late and missed 14.1.41 So much for palindrome birthdays.
I was made a vice president at the Women's Bowling club today. No great honour as they were desperate to fill the position and I have turned it down several times before.

Hello friends!
Just got home and rushed to the computer to check the Baby progress - sounds close now! I'll keep checking ...
SO tired! Drove my sister home from Mum's place, where we'd spent yesterday cleaning and tidying and moving unwanted stuff up to the shed. At some stage I slipped and ripped my shoulder ... ouch! We did get a lot done, and we went to visit Mum - she was in a good mood and glad to see us, so it was a lovely visit. We went back today, but only stayed a short time (she kept telling us that Dad was in the other room ... ?) The drive home was exhausting (usually Rob and I share the work) but I did it without any touble, so quite proud of myself! Had to help my sister get home, so Rob is picking up take-away! Hope I stay awake long enough to eat it!
Take care all of you ... I'll be dropping in soon to check the news! :D

3.5 hours since Suzy's last post. Don't know if that is good or bad.
Here we usually do birthdays as mm/dd/yy. Dylan has a cool date: 11/22/00.
Brenda, glad you had a nice trip. It is always good to get back home but there is always so much to do.
Judy, glad you made some progress at mum's place. I am not looking forward to having to clean my parents house. They have 30 years of junk and do not like to throw anything out.
Cyn, glad you got all your reservations made. Sounds like a nice trip. Hope you take, and post, lots of pictures.
