Mondays child poem

Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

I will have to wait till morning to find if Dana delivers, I have stayed up past my bedtime already and no news.

At least it has stopped raining, for a day or so. It seems another weather system is following this one that left us. heidi, you were in luck, not much rain from this one. It stayed in the south, at times covering most of 3 and 4 states. We did not get the heavy rain some areas south of us, nearer the coast got. I heard mention of flash flooding there.

Good luck to Dana and the babe and grandma. hope they have answers soon. Hugs to each of you, with extras, till tomorrow.

I've been waiting late, too. I'm off to bed now, and crossing my fingers that my ankle was responding to the cold front moving in and will feel better tomorrow.

I keep coming back too. If Suzy is the helper she will be with Dana for a little while after the birth. I was with Sharon and cut the cord etc. Also taking photos. Then Suzy also has to ring her mother and immediate family.
I have been undercoating the mission brown trim in the pantry. I feel like a contortionist.

Good Evening, Everyone!

Terrific TOPP, Tami!

Darn, I missed Bean. Enjoy your visit with your sister! Bean, I hope you can get your communications straightened out soon! Very frustrating having things that don't work! I also totally understand your not being able to part with the phone! (I still cry when I think about accidentally deleting a message from my Dad. All we can do is keep our memories bright!)

Rolanda, thanks for the reminder! Tami, I FINALLY found some postcards. Unfortunately, it was after the post office closed, and it will be closed on Monday, as well. Hope to get them in the mail on Tuesday!

Cyn, we're also glad to have you back regularly! I bet the purple/pink glasses are beautiful!

Mama, I hope your quiet house doesn't make you lonely!

Tricia, I hope you will have a string of better days! You always seem to get a lot done, but don't do too much and regret it the next day!

Heidi, congrats on the first heifer calf. More importantly, what great news that the tractor dealership is going to replace the tractor. Keeping fingers crossed that the third time is indeed the charm!

June, I'm guessing that you don't sit still for very long. I hope you were able to finish the pantry painting, cleaning of bottles of spirits and returning of items to the pantry!

Heidi, I don't think any of us are surprised that IH left without paying for the truck repairs! So glad the birds are enjoying their romaine lettuce feast!

Broni, ditto what you said to Heidi! We all know who is the christian, regardless of who spends time in church. (I'm guessing it's all for show, anyway.)

Heidi, there was nothing wrong with your first comment on page 345, but I also like your second as a TOPP plus one!

Cyn, I hope you took the opportunity to make a guess for baby's arrival date.

Darn, I see I missed Judy yesterday! Hope all's well!

Brenda, it sounds like you're enjoying your holiday! LOTS of shopping - even for the C holiday! (Hmm, that could be the "Chocolate" holiday. Quite impressive! Brugge/Bruges sounds like a wonderful place to visit!

Heidi, I hope you're not right about a loose screw in your ankle. Regardless, the pain is there, and at a very inopportune time. Calf checks on crutches doesn't sound like fun. Please be careful. We know you listen to your body and are glad you have a wheelchair to use as needed!

MizT, too much rain makes all of cranky, whether human or animal. I hope you were able to sneak away for a little alone time in the recliner!

Heidi, I'm glad you had a good dinner at cousin Don's (and you didn't need to try to make dinner from a wheelchair! And again, we're not surprised that IH is trying to weasel out of helping you by doing a cow check.

And speaking of checking, I haven't seen anything from Suzy on this page since a comment or two at the top. Keeping Suzy and Dana in my thoughts.

June, thanks for the update on the Decorah eagle. I checked in a few times last night, thinking it would happen then, but haven't had a chance to check today.

Still waiting for Suzy and Dana. Maybe my guess will be correct. At least I hope they don't need to keep making daily hospital visit!

Time to head to the Land of Nod for me. , positive thoughts, healing vibes, prayers and {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} for everyone!

An uneventful day, Dana has a bad cold and has had some pains, but no labour...

Tomorrow is another appointment with the monitor and her doc (that one is going to be about the cold). Tuesday is an OB appointment.

I haven't read, in fact page 1 is showing, my brain is dead.

Big hugs to everyone and thank you all for the support you have given me!!!

Morning all. Coffee is ready (and hot tea for Dana), help yourself.

Suzy, send my best wishes to Dana. Having a cold when you are pregnant is not fun. There is nothing you can do except ride it out. I hope she feels better soon.

Hoping everyone else is having a good day out there. Hubby is playing softball and I may go and watch. Sis-in-law is having her kitchen remodeled so we invited her and her family for dinner. I think it is only her and hubby coming. My niece is away for the weekend but if she gets back in time, she will come also.

Leg is feeling better.... I can walk with a cane today. I do have to go to the store for puppy food. For some reason, the puppies like to eat.

These false alarms must be getting on your nerves, Suzy. Hang on.... it'll be over within a week. Then you will have the pleasure of dirty diapers, crying baby at night, diapers, colics and more diapers. I bet that you will wish that the baby was back inside of Dana.

Believe it or not, my tongue is STILL numb! It's just a slightly smaller area that's numb. I have feeling in the back of the tongue and a narrow strip along the right edge. I got the shot of novocain on Feb. 7th. I think I may have set a new record.

Just checking on everything ... sorry Dana has a cold and is feeling bad - that's not what you want at this time. {{{Hugs}}} to all who need them.
I'll be away from the computer for the next couple of days, so won't be able to keep track of events - hope everything goes well and everyone is ok. ♥♥

Now I'm waiting and watching for any new results...my guess is the 22nd...hope Dana doesn't hold out until then after all of these false alarms...but then again, with a fresh cold, it just might be better. Well, as Gail might say, it will be what it will be...Peace and good health to one and all.♥

Greetings friends, I did think I had posted today, guess not, it is not here. Not a lot going on, I have done a few things today, but mostly dozed in my recliner. Would sit down to read or watch TV between chores, and wake 20 minutes later, do that enough and you eat up a big part of your day.

I have dinner cooked, I baked sweet potatoes, oven fried some breaded okra, and have sliced ham is thawing in the fridge. Add some banana pudding for desert, sounds like dinner to me!

It rained again last night and has been a bit drippy today. No real rain, just enough to drip from the house. Kitty has joined me in dozing away the afternoon.

Judy, hope you are back to the puter again soon, and that whatever is keeping you away is more fun than not.

Suzy, are the Aussies as into disposable diapers as the USA? There are a few Mom's here who still want cloth, but not many. Disposables were just on the market with my last, I used them when we were away from home for the convenience, but at home she was in cloth. \ I hope you got some rest fore another trip back for appointment at hospital. Going to doctor appointments is so tiring for even those who are well/

I just cannot get warm when up and about. It is not cold inside, just damp, and it seems to seep into my bones. Because it is not cold, the heat is not on much to dry out the air. One reason I retreat to my recliner, I have a very warm throw there, I covers me up, gets me toasty warm, no wonder I cannot stay awake hehehe.

Hugs to each of you, with extras, till I return.

Heidi, glad to hear the ankle is better today, hope it continues to improve. Did you get the puppy food?

June, hope your storm passed with no damage to your area.

We have had a lovely drive round the country side today, had to make a couple of pitstops ie call of nature and to get diesel for the car. During one of those two stops Richard's phone must have fallen out of the pocket in the car door as it is missing. He is very very upset about it as he has only had the phone about three weeks. Once we got home he has put a stop to the phone and ordered new sim card and new phone to replace the lost one. Fortunately all his info is stored on his computer so once his phone arrives he will be back in business.

Good morning all -
Oh no Brenda - losing his mobile phone, that's got to be so frustrating.
Suzy - calming thoughts going out to you and Dana as you deal with another day of Doctors and monitors. This will the time when Dana wonders how she thought she could do this without you.
MizT - yes Aussie Mums all use disposables these days. Hope you can stay toasty warm - good feeling in cold weather.

Karin and her family are back from their whirlwind visit to Sydney to pick up their new car. Got home at 10pm last night and all had to get up to start the new week's work, school and college bright eyed and bushytailed this morning - bet they don't feel like it!
Meanwhile I am preparing my house for an onslaught. My son gave up the lease on his house but has not been able to find a new one, so he and Em are moving in here for probably about 6 weeks until that's sorted. It was my suggestion as they can look after Jewel and the house while we are away. It's just while we are all here, especially the weekends he has the other girls, it will be bedlam!

But you will be able to spend some quality time with Emily, Cyn. She needs extra special treatment, since her "egg donor" wanted her sisters but not her. I bet her dad lets her know how special she is.

Heidi - I think her 'egg donor' is realising her mistake. She is spending much more extra time with Em these days and phones her every night to see how her day went. She made waves about taking her back - Andrew has always said that if that happened it would be up to Emily - Em didn't want to go. She may later on, just as the other girls may want to go to their father. Time will tell.
