Mr Nobody also lives at my house and leaves all his things on the kitchen bench, family room table and the dining room table. Mr Nobody also collects every receipt (food, petrol, hardware etc) and puts them on the bookcase in my bedroom.
If Mr Nobody keeps it up he can find his own room to sleep in.

Happy Birthday Rolanda!! Hope you are having a great day!!!

If there is only one person to blame it isn't Mr Nobody!! Mr Nobody only goes to places where you really can't tell which one did it. Cyn and Vicki, yours are Mr Cyn and Mr Vicki - definite identities.

I loved it too, Judy.

Quiet day here. D took me out for breakfast this morning as she was working on Mother's Day. Then we did a bit of shopping, but only for necessities.

I have spent the rest of the day relaxing and even had a nap. Shoulders and low back are pretty well back to normal after a day of rest.

Hugs all around .....

Theresa, your comment made me smile - your daughter was working on Mother's Day!! I know it's a sucky day to have to work when you're a mother, but is so good to hear about her getting around and living her life now. It may not be a perfect life, but she is living it after going through h3ll (and you with her).

I had an awful dentist appointment, and I'm feeling sorry for myself. I have nerves in strange places, and we could NOT get that tooth numb for the longest time. It took 1 1/2 hours, and 15 injections of novocain and 3 other numbing products, as well as 3 x-tips to finally get it numb. The side of my face now feels battered. At least I don't have to go back for 6 weeks. I hope.

Hi, Everyone! We had a late night tonight, so my comments will be brief. Unfortunately, we have another meeting tomorrow. Well, we stay out of trouble this way.

Rolanda, please keep the pictures coming!

Suzy (and pretty much everyone who has ever lived with another human being), it's the Mr. Nobodies who cause so many problems! What if food is allowed after the Mr. Nobodies have cleaned up their messes? Will that encourage anyone to confess - or at least take care of the work that needs to be done?

Gail, the boutique idea is inspired! Far better than a garage sale, but you'll really need to keep to "By appointment, only" if you are to have a life of your own.

Broni, what great news and an excellent plan: fun first, then work! Enjoy the company and help from your brother!

Tami, your story about all of the "bodies" is cute! I hope you and Mitchell get over your colds quickly! Good luck to him on the AP test on Friday!

June, congratulations on the win in your singles bowl game! Way to go!

Heidi, I'm not surprised that the mess was essentially caused by IH, but he had no part in cleaning it up. At least he was out of the house for a while! I hope our dentist appointment went well!

Tricia, what a GREAT idea to combine a solar water heater with a small "on demand" heater! So sorry to hear that one of Joy's kitties passed! Do you have a copy of The Rainbow Bridge" to share with her? {{{HUGS}}}

Judy, I hope you enjoyed your "free" day and did something for yourself!

Happy Birthday , Rolanda! I hope it was recognized by having a yummy cake and fresh flowers!

What a great almost TOPP, Vicki!

Theresa, the nature film you shared was fantastic! It's so great to hear that your shoulders and lower back are better after a restful day! There is hope!

Heidi, I hope you are able to sleep tonight! What an awful experience you had with the tooth! {{{HUGS}}}

I really neeed to head to bed. Pleasant dreams, everyone! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, , prayers, healing vibes and positive thoughts for each of you!

June, congratulations on your win!!!

MizT, that instantaneous thing doesn't work with solar heating. You have to have storage so the water can heat during the day when the sun is out. Australians would be much more likely to have off-peak hot water, heats up when the electricity is cheaper. My house had never had that connected and it sounds like chateau rental doesn't either. I have a friend with instantaneous but hers is gas.

Julie, if I tried anything like your food thing I would be snarled out for accusing them of lying! Even hubby gets in on that. I don't know how he thinks things happen if one of them didn't do it, but I am not allowed to every imply that somebody hasn't been honest. He can be sitting beside me and hearing the same conversation and not hear the contradictions in stories!!

Morning friends, woke to a clear blue sky and temps that are wonderfully cool, but the sun will put an end to that shortly. Temps to the very warm/hot category by afternoon.

GAIL, the boutique is a great idea, wish you continued success with it.

Julie, i did send her the Rainbow Bridge poem, that is one of the things i always do. I have the site bookmarked, so I can get a opy anytime needed. I am not sure she has seen it, if she commented on it I did not see. Facebook does things like that to me. Other family members saw it and was thier first reading of it. both are saving to share with any of thier friends who might loose a pet, so even now, it is still spreading. I do not know when that was written, but I have been sending it out for many many years.

Broni, so glad that your brother is coming to help and taking the boat out for a weekend first is the best idea. Wish I lived in driving distance, I have been on sail boat infrequently, but so enjoyed it, even when the wind got up and the waves were high on the lake, and the temps were old! Not just a fair weather sailor hehehe.

Suzy, I join you in smiling at Theresa's post about her daughter working Mother's d
Day, then taking her to breakfast. such normal things, things she could not do a year ago, what progress she has made. that in itself should be the best Mother's day gift of all for Theresa.

TAMI, I do hope the old is getting better. I think it wise you get as much rest as possible till it is better. get well Soon!

I need to go back and find the link to the bird photos. I did not have time to click it when I read it yesterday. You all make it sound just a must see.

Suzy, when it was just Al and me here, he did not blame Mr Nobody. he blamed the at hehehe. I do find i can clean my clutter on the kitchen table easily now, when the occasion calls for it, but find that yes, i did add to his clutter. together we could really junk up the place quickly.

Rolanda, I am looking forward to watching your house go up. It seems construction methods are different from ours. Our brick homes are brick veneer, so first thing built is timber framing of the structure, stud walls. It seems you are skipping that and having walls that are entirely brick. Will be most interesting, do share photos with me please, I am interested.

Heidi, your trip to dentist sounds horrible. I do hope the numb wears off this time, leaving no permanent results. BTW, is tip of tongue still numb? Perhaps you should consider having gas for any further dental work, or some general anesthesia. the Novocaine just does not seem to work for you. OUCH, hurts just to think of what you went through.

Not wanting to do a Julie and go over, I will post now and then continue to read. Hugs, till later.

Morning.

Rolanda, is this the year you finally turn 29????

We are expecting rain today with the possibility of thunderstorms. We had a smattering this morning already and now the sun is trying to come out. Hope the weather man was incorrect!

Time to do some serious krow around here. Not much got done while I was working on MIL's bed cover. Hubby has been working extra hours at his part-time job so he hasn't been around as much as usual either.

MizT, sorry about Joy's kitty. I hope her other kitty will not be too lonely.

My D is pretty well back to normal now. With the orthotic device to bring her one leg down another inch, she barely has a limp. The place where she is working does not have a lot of hours for her right now. But after the hours she does have, she is exhausted, so it's just as well.

I only thought about making my morning coffee, it seems. Went for a cup and only a half cup of leftover from last night there, cold. Waiting for a pot to brew now, silly Tricia.

SUZY, I have read of the on demand water heater added to a solar system. You still have your entire solar system, water storage tank and all. Water comes from storage tank to point of use as usual, this being your shower. In the water line, just before the shower, you install the on demand heater and a thermostat. If the water arriving at the on demand heater is hot enough, nothing happens, water just flows through. If it is below the temp you have set for a comfortable shower, the water is heated right there, in the bathroom, near the shower. the units are small, can be hung on a wall, or electric ones installed in a closet or under a vanity cabinet or "bench". because the water is already warm, and because you only heat what you need for shower, the cost of energy is minimal. Hope that makes sense now, I am not good at explaining this stuff today.

Well, I had a phone call and did not send this first, D#1 phoned, and we always talk over an hour. Good thing we do not talk daily I guess.

Off to do some cooking, I have a large bag of chicken to cook up today. Hugs to each of you, with extras. Till later.

My turn for the dentist today. Remove the temporary filling and put in the porcelain filling. Should not need an injection and the biggest hurt will be to the pocket ($1300). We do not have dental insurance but if we add up what insurance would have cost over the years we are well in front.

MizT... I WILL not have gas. Ever. They tried to give it to me once and a had a full scale panic attack and freak-out within 30 seconds. It took half an hour for my heart to stop racing and for me to stop shaking like a leaf. As I said, I'm wired a little differently. My dentist is about to take a course on medical anesthesia to put me under if we have to go through this again. It only happens with teeth #'s 18, 19 and 20 (bottom left molars), but they all still have their nerves.

Good luck, June.

This morning I helped Robert get his motorcycle to the repair shop. I have a jumper box so we jumped his cycle and he drove the 30 miles to the most reliable shop with me following him. Then we stopped at Tractor Supply for a few items and back to work.

We ended up getting 94 BIG rolls of hay in the timothy and alfalfa fields. That's just the first cutting. We should get 2 or 3 or even 4 more cuttings from those fields. We should get 2 cuttings from the 15 acres of fescue, which grow slower, but produce a LOT. We're on track to have a great hay year. And I won't have to buy any hay. I might have extra to sell.

I am off in a few minutes to the doc. Last couple of days, I had a sore mouth, under dentures, thought I just had bruised or starched my gums. today I had a sore throat, looked at it, and I think I have thrush again. since I have had it so many times this year, and since I have not taken antibiotics lately, the nurse and I thought it would be better if I came in and let him take a look. they will work me in this afternoon, I was told to appear about 4 pm. Hope I do not have to wait too long. Hope he can fix it right up, but more important, find out why I keep repeating this. I can count 5 or 6 times in the last year. there has to be a reason.

Heidi, wow do you do strange things with gas. I have never had it, and yes, there are some medical anesthesia options that might work for you. versed is the instant asslep, instant wake up for most people. I have problems with that one. they did Proponal when I had the injections in back and something different with the last colonoscopy, it was as fast asleep and easy wake up as the proponol was. So there are options, it is good your dentist cares enough to find something she can do for you.

Later friends, must do the last minute things to be ready for doc. Hope I am home again soon. Hugs.

The dentist I have now is the best dentist I've ever had. There are dozens and dozens of dentists closer than her but she's well worth the one hour drive each way. She gets a laugh out of me. When I call in with a problem, I give the tooth number, the surface if (applicable), a diagnosis and what I think the treatment needs to be. She says that I've never been wrong yet. She has asked me if I ever worked in a dental clinic and I said no, I've just spent a LOT of hours in the chair.

Good morning all
Tami - kids wouldn't be normal if they didn't fight with one another. But the love between them is always just under the surface.
Hot water - we're just getting quotes for gas h/w, we have electric which works well but is expensive.
Theresa - glad you and your D had some time together for mother's day.
Tricia - whenever my daughter rings, we talk for at least an hour in a conversation that starts with - 'Not much to tell you.....'
Rolanda - hope your birthday was enjoyable.

Squishy thing later this morning.

I have a cousin who is dying of lung cancer. Saw him in March at the reunion, he went downhill fast after that but has rallied for the time being but, of course, it's only temporary.
Now I hear this morning that his sister has been diagnosed with emphysema. He's 59, she's 57.
Bit shell-shocked now.
