I think a birthday wish to Suzy is apt for the top of the page.
Suzy - thanks for the update on Nola and Judy.
Loved the fun YouTube with Belinda in it!

Suzy. Hope you have a wonderful year. I always remember your birthday and anniversary. More coincidences: Suzy shares her birthday with Mitchell and her anniversary with my mom's birthday.

Wonderful news about Judy. It is nice to hear that it was benign.

Yes, I was worried about my dad but I was more annoyed with my mom. She didn't tell me what the tests were for until they were over. She just said dad was going for a few tests.

Suzy, I can take pictures of the pens and post them for you. I will do it soon and take them step-by-step to see how I make them.

I've been out of it all day. I suspect that it's a combination of the 2 antibiotics and the infection in the bone.

Suzy, hope you are having a great day.
Thanks for the link to Belinda's School 'muck up' concert. I could not access it from your link but went to her FB page. I do not have that much energy.
I have put up a photo of our skit on my page. We did 'Little Red Riding Hood'. I wrote the script, (all about the club and the ladies on the committee) had some one read it and we acted it out.

Judy/Hawkmoon, wonderful news. I hope the following treatment is not too harsh and that soon it will be a full recovery.
Tami, good news for your father and hopefully there will be some good news for Marlane.
Mamacita, I hope you continue to get better. I did worry when you said you had a cold.
Heidi, I do hope they can fix your gum without too much pain.

Copying my post from TOS because I only have a few minutes...

So many thanks for all of the birthday wishes! I had a rotten class last period and got home seriously stressed. Thanks to all of your wonderful messages I am now smiling! What a wonderful birthday gift you have all given me!! I couldn't wish for more... ♥

I think I should have told these rotten boys that it was my birthday. Maybe they would have been nicer!

The gum is perfectly healthy, June. It started with the root of one of my molars fracturing, then splitting. Food wedged in so deep that the dentist couldn't remove it. An infection set in, resulting in this bone infection and erosion. To make it more complicated, the troublesome tooth is a support tooth for a bridge. With the split root, the whole bridge wobbles when I eat, which is uncomfy, so i don't eat on that side now. Next Tuesday, they're gonna have to remove the bridge, the bad tooth and the broken root, then work on removing diseased bone, then repairing and reconstructing the bone over that tooth and the ones on either side, in preparation to install 2 implants once the bone is healthy and solid again. They said it'll take 3 months for it to heal to that point. At least I have something to do this winter, now.

Hello to Everyone!

Happy Birthday, Suzy! I hope your day improved once you got home!

Theresa, {{{{HUGS}}}} for you. I agree with the others. You do what you can when you know about something to be done. Other than that, there's no point in worrying about it or feeling guilt. You are only one person doing as much as one person can do. I like MIzT's idea of doing something for your friend's husband in a month!

Heidi, It almost seems like IH's behavior is showing some guilt - like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar and trying to act as if nothing has happened. I don't know how you do it. {{{HUGS}}} Thinking especially of you as you do what needs to be done due to the bone infection. Hopefully the antibiotic will get right to work!

MizT, I'm glad you have permission to stop the antibiotic for now! Keep taps on the spot, but hopefully the antibiotic cream will do the trick and finish the healing process! The flower pens are a great idea, as are the throw pillows! I wish you success in finding the small whisks you purchased for your sister! Did you keep the shopping bag they were placed in; might still be in the bag, if you're like me. I hope you enjoyed dinner with Joy!

Mamacita, it sounds like you are making wonderful progress! Give yourself time! Not feeling well and being in the hospital are both very exhausting. We're just happy to have you back with us and having enough energy to read some posts and comment! {{{HUGS}}}

Tami, so glad your cousin Marlane's surgery went well! Also, fantastic knews from your Dad's biopsy! If you mentioned it earlier, I missed it. I imagine you've had a few things on your mind!

Suzy, those are some amazing coincidences! What a small world it is!

Bean, I'm so glad you will be able to use the pool! It sounds just the thing for your hip and for dealing with hot temperatures! Sounds like you're making progress on the paperwork. {{{HUGS}}} as you go through preparations!

Hawkmoon, thanks for thinking of us and dropping by with the excellent news! Gentle {{{{HUGS}}}} to both Judy and you as you negotiate your way through the next steps! May the doctors you find be top-notch and may all procedures be easy and pain-free!

Midge, your friend is making great strides after his triple bypass! Wishing him continued progress with his recovery!

Brenda, sitting for 2 hours in the cold does NOT sound fun. But then, I suppose the gninori may have helped warm you up.
Good for you for getting some Christmas shopping done! Enjoy watching something YOU want to watch tonight on the TV! You earned it!

Broni, you have your hands full with 2 dogs and 2 cats to take care of!

Suzy, what a busy day - driving Miss Daisy (oops, I mean Dana) and helping Alie with her project. I hope you found some time for you!

Suzy, thanks for the update from Nola! I'm glad Judy seems to be aware of her visits and sleep more peacefully when she is there. Now we just need to hop

Well, I see I've managed to run over the limit again. Here's the rest:

Suzy, thanks for the update from Nola! I'm glad Judy seems to be aware of her visits and sleep more peacefully when she is there. Now we just need to hope that Nola is able to get some sleep when she spends the night with Judy!

Suzy, it's too bad there wasn't a hidden video camera. It would have been funny watching the 'refusers' scramble to the bench at the front of the room before the deputy arrived.

Theresa, enjoy your hubby's company in Ottawa. Since you don't enjoy shopping, I won't suggest that you enjoy it, just accomplish what you hope to get done.

Cyn, the birthday wish for Suzy was a perfect TOPP!

Vicki, it's so nice to see you when you can drop by! I suspect you have been a very busy person of late!

Heidi, I suspect you're right that 2 antibiotics and a major infection might be the cause of being somewhat out-of-it! Your body needs time and all the energy it can muster to fight the infection!

Happy Birthday, Suzy!

Happy Birthday, Mitchell!

It's time to head to bed here. Sending lots of {{{{{ H U G S }}}}}, prayers, positive thoughts and healing vibes for all!

More news from Judy; we saw the oncologists today. It is a slow growing grade 2 tumour and they/we have decided she will need radiotherapy. They hope that it will give her some improvement and more importantly will slow the growth. We hope she will move out of the hospital into rehab in the next couple of days.

So much for being able to watch anything I wanted on Tv last night. There was a fault on our service and we had no tv to watch. Never mind I got all my cards written. Also played on the computer and did some reading too.

Relaxation time! I got home, redid my makeup, read some of the lovely messages, left again for dinner with my bro and family - it's my nieces 18th birthday today! I got home and sewed up straps for the Xmas tree dress, sewed them on, tried on the dress so Alie could trim up the trim.. and now I'm done and sitting here with a glass of wine.... and it's only 10pm...

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

Hawkmoon, please relay my thoughts and good wishes to Judy. Tell her I am thinking of her from the topside.

Thank you for all the wishes for Mitchell. I will make sure he reads them when he gets home from school. I have already put him on the school bus. According to him, he is not 16 yet. It is not 6:34 pm so he is not 16. I love his logic.

Hawkmoon, I was hoping she'd get by without the radiation. Sending thoughts and hugs! And vibes into the ether that she will be in rehab soon! It has to be better than a hospital ward...

Brenda, what a bugger! Though I'd love a night of reading right now so maybe not all bad....

Broni, a house to yourself! I'm almost envious!

No updates from Nola today, which I'm hoping just means nothing has changed....

Tami, that would be wonderfully fantastic! I'd love to see the photos, particularly blow by blow... Our coincidences are funny/weird in a cool kind of way.

June, one day I'm going to see one of your shows! Now that I'm a working stiff it could be tougher, but who knows how much I will be working...

Hawkmoon... you've earned that scotch. After all you and Judy have gone through recently, now that you have something going right, and some answers, you can crash a bit. Have some for Judy, too, since they probably don't allow scotch in the hospital.

Morning all,
I'm not here, I'm working out what to do with the 'boys' today...

Yesterday a deputy heard how bad they were being and came over to check what was going on, and checked the board to see if I had any work for them to do!!!

Judy is just the same and Nola got to have a day out with hubby... yay!

Something was said about my brother spacing out on a conversation last night. I commented that I do it too, especially since my stroke. Hubby said I'm better since I started full time teaching!!! Made my day...
