I guess there must be some good television - or books being read - here in North America.

I'm concerned about MizT., too. They had some nasty weather today. It's coming this way -- just has begun to rain here (midnight) -- and has lost some of its intensity.

If MizTricia is getting bad weather, I'm sure she has shut down her computer. I hope the weather hasn't been too bad, and we'll probably see her for virtual coffee in the morning.

JULIE, here is your virtual coffee, a bit early today.

Yes, we did have some weather go through, spent some time in the storm shelter dome yesterday. Tornado warnings for our county, but we are fine. This time a tornado touched down south of us about 25 miles, a long way away as tornadoes go.

We lost some big limbs from trees, out in the back woods. I know cause I saw them flying through the air! I think they blew off our property, did not see them on the ground in a quick look, and really cannnot see where they came from, but I know I saw them flying! Wind was blosing rain sideways, horizontal rain, at the time.

We did loose internet connection for a bit yesterday evening, as the storms were south of us and that is where we get signal , from the south. All seems to be working fine today. Many people were without power, but again, further south.

forecast says we will do this severe weather again next weekend, DRATS!

Good morning all! MizT, glad the really bad weather missed you! It is balmy here today, already 48*F. But the rain and the warm temperature has caused lots of flooding. The schools have this week off, so don't have to worry about that. I just hope we don't get any more rain because the driveway is already flooded. Max is taking pictures of it right now. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good evening all!

Ruby, Rudy is very beautiful! It must be hard containing his energy, but it sounds like you did a really good thing in saving him!

A day of soccer and shopping. Not much else was accomplished. Hubby took Max down tonight for his second practice of the day. I was just too tired to go. Gotta get my tape ready for the season finale of Prison Break. Also, a new Medium is supposed to be on tonight. It will be nice when all of the shows are back on again.

Very nice pictures of Dino on Shosho's page with Keith. It sounds like a lovely time was had by all!

Catch you late!

Hi for all of you experiencing bad weather - hope all is well. Ruby you are wonderful. As I was getting Chella's food ready (2 litres of pollard mixed with molasses and water, 1 large scoop of special rice nuts, two scoops of senior muesli and three scoops of lucerne chaff) I wondered if she would like the wine list! Our food is much more simple.

Hi All haven't been around for a couple of days, and have had to catch up.
Ruby..Rudy looks gorgeous, hopefully he will settle down a bit when(if) he matures.
Lynda...Hope Chella enjoys that meal, it must be doing her a lot of good.
Stella I agree with Gail...I get tired just reading about your schedule. I'm just thankful my kids aren't into sport etc and if they were they take themselves everywhere now.

Good morning all! Yesterday the temperature got to 56*F! That's 20 degrees warmer than normal! Today, we're supposed to be back to normal with more snow on the way! 27* at the moment!

One of these days we're going to get back into the rhythm of SA and be here to chat at the same time. Is Rolanda still camping, I haven't seen her in a while. Hello June, Brenda, Lynda, Bean, Gail, Julie, Ruby, MizT, Becky, Mama, Suzy, vdV, Cyndi and anyone else I might have missed. Have a great day!

Linda, you are quite special for taking such good care of Chella. I suggest a good, crisp white wine -- to cut the molasses. You could put that formula on the recipe page.

Did anyone else read in last week's USA Today (or any paper) about the new treatment for arthritis in dogs? They extract stem cells from the dog's fat and then inject them back into his affected joints. It seems to be very effective. Of course, it's expensive -- $2000 per treatment. Wonder if they are working on this for humans -- and how much it will cost then!

Hi Ruby, didn't see that at all but wish hey would hurry up and do it for humans. A lot of people would be helped with this, me included.

Afternoon all, I fell down on my job this morning, and did not put the coffee on! I was up about 5 am, and decided to go back to sleep. A bit achey, took a tylenol and it must have worked. I slept till 10 am this morning. TOTALLY unheard of for me! I noticed noone made the coffee for me today, bummer!

We have spring weather. I have been outside sitting in the sun on my porch, with a neighbor. Nice to have someone to chat with and soak up some rays. The wind was a bit much, though, it is rather breezy out today!

Went to chiropractor yesterday, and he is helping my hip problem. He and hubby told me I have to take it easy today. OK, I can do that, but who is going to do the things I usually do?? Of course hubby had to be away today, deliver a computer and repair another on site, so no help from him today! Well, he did help make brunch. I stand in one spot in that room with the stove, and he brings things to me to prepare. luckily I can stand one spot , just turn around and reach both stove and sink ! Also luckily, I had a nice stock of pre cooked meals in freezer, we can still eat another 2 days fore I need to cook again. Perhaps by then, I can get back to wallking about and cooking again. If not, it cn be hubby's turn to cook. He can do it, if he has to.

I hated leaving the sunny outdoors, but the wind was making it a bit cool, and was loosing the sun on the back porch. It is also time for a nap, yeah, I know, I am sleeping my life away, but maybe that is what I need now to heal.

catch you all later!
ROLANDA, you could find 5 minutes to drop in and say hello here, you have been Missed!
