MizTricia sounds as if you are falling to pieces, wrap up and keep warm, don't stand about in kitchens. Anyone who found a cure or permanent relief for arthritis would be a saint, (make money too). My husband uses omega 3 tablets and glucosamine, he reckons they are working. Have a good day/night.

Just got home from having my hair done. It's a hard life, but somebody's gotta do it! My former hairdresser has left the salon and I'm devastated. She did such a BRILL job. The last time I had it done was Christmas Eve and I have only just plucked up the courage to have somebody else do it. She recommended the owner of the salon, and I am quite pleased with the result.

MizT hope yo are feeling a bit better today and have a little help from Al if you aren't. Sounds wonderful being able to sit out already, we have gone back to being cold and dull.
Gail, when I moved down to Stevenage after I got married it took me 6 years to find a decent hairdresser (one which did my hair how I wanted it not how they felt like doing it), then she left to have a baby and I had to start the search all over again. Fingers crossed I think I have found him now.

Rolanda, any more caravan trips planned. I am looking forward to getting out in ours, I have made a promise to myself that we will use it more this year, even if it is just going 20 or 30 miles away from home, at least it is away from home and a change of scenery.

Good morning all! Another dusting of snow and it is cold again, 14*F. The other day was amazing with the warm wind, sunshine and 56*F. Everyone was out without jackets, in shorts and t-shirts! But since we usually don't get that kind of weather until April, we all knew we had to enjoy it while it was here. Winter will be around for weeks to come!

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my sister. She got a real kick out of it and it made her day. She never knew so many people around the world would bother to send wishes. It is amazing when you think about it!

Sorry MizT about not making coffee for you when you slept in, but I never make coffee. The only time coffee is made in my house is when we have company. Then, I need all the fans on, or better yet, made outside, because I don't even like the smell of coffee. But I would have been more than happy to share a cuppa tea with you!

I need to get in shape and lose weight. Max will be going to Disney World with his school marching band in April. I need to be able to get into a bathing suit and have enough energy to supervise Max around Disney World. I thought if I wrote it down, said it out loud, so to speak, it might help me accomplish it.

Hi Stella, I've just been looking at your photos on your page. I love the snow ones. We haven't seen that amount of snow for years.
You don't look as if you need to lose weight and as for more energy..well the amount of energy you have shown by all you manage to achieve.. if you have more you will turn into supergirl and end up flying everywhere

Good afternoon, I am still alive and kicking. Just not as high a kick as usual
Another very nice day out today, warming up to 63, I have back door opened as the house is warmer than that. not as much sun as yesterday, but warm and cloudy is OK I guess. I need to get myself back outside for a nother sit and enjoy the weather. Storms comming back again this weekend. Spring is our T-storm weather, but starting them a bit early, I could have waited till mid March for that. I do hope no severe weather this weekend, keeping fingers crossed.
Al and I made a huge pot of venison stew today. His customer gave him 2 pounds of stew meat, and it was beginning to thaw, so into the pot it went, with onions, and carrots and potatoes and green beans and beef broth, A few herbs and spices , yummy. It smelled so good, Al asked if he could just have some of that for lunch. told him, SURE, but you gonna have it for dinner too, I am not cooking again today. "fine with me" was his reply, so we enjoyed a nice bowl of that. Cooked in presure cooker, and the meat is very tender, can cut it with your spoon. Pressure cooker means I can brown the onions and meat in the same pot I shall cook it in, and it is done in 15 minutes, works for me.
OK, back to bed for me, I am sleeping a lot now, but this hip hurting when I walk seems to wear me down quickly. tomorrow another apoeintment, unless I wake and it is all well.
If I am not here by 8 am tomorrow, will someone please plug in the coffee pot?? Stella, this is a cyber pot, so no smells. AND yes, there is tea and choccie available too, cyber coffee pots can do that you know.
Hugs to all, till tomorrow,
Tricia

Lucy, I'm home. Hi everyone. I had to take an unexpected trip to the coast on Saturday. Just got home this evening. Hubby bought his work truck and drove it home, leaving his pickup on the coast. So we took my vehicle down and he drove his home. Of course we had to do some shopping while we were there. We had beautiful weather down there, it was at least 10°C. It was raining when we left but we got ahead of it and had great driving weather all the way home. We visited my brother and niece and took out son #1 and his girlfriend for dinner. We stayed with hubby's cousin. It was a really nice time but I am glad to get home again. I will miss the warm weather, though. We won't get that warm for at least a month and a half.

Must be haircut week. Amber and I got haircuts down on the coast. She never had short hair until last Oct. and this time she wanted it even shorter. I'm off to do some puzzles now. I'll probably check back later to see if anyone is around.

Rena is the trip to the coast Vancouver or into USA. Glad it was a good trip.
Tricia, hope you are feeling better and up to waking us with that morning cup of coffee.
As you are starting to look for the signs of spring in your gardens I am noticing the leaves in a couple of the deciduous trees starting to get a yellowish look about them. I might have to change the "spring" welcome in my back yard to something a bit more autumn looking!

Hi Suzy, I have not missed the hot summer at all. The rain has been nice in the garden and it has not been too hot. One daughter is on tank water so she has liked the rain to keep her tank full.

Yes Rolanda, Perth has certainly had some extreme temperatures this summer. I wonder how my parents and grandparents coped in the summer. We had hot lunches cooked on a fuel stove in a low kitchen with an iron roof. As a kid growing up it was normal but now if the temp/humidity gets a bit much the AC is on straight away.

Maen, coffee is on! I am motivating about slowly today, but at least I am moving.
Rain out today, a slow drizzle, the nice sink into the ground kind of rain. Most of the state is getting rain today and Mississippi too, so wide spread.
I must find a way to get some things done today, like load the dishwasher and clean out fridge and cook another couple meals. today If i cook, I shall put whatever it is into the fridge before lunch! Stew was good twice yesterday, but it cold have been dinner for 2 days, and sandwiches for lunch if hubby had not found it! He asked so nicely for it for his lunch, I could not refuse him hehe, but if he does not SEE or SMELL it today, he cannot ask for it for lunch.
I also must do at least one load of laundry. do it early and put in dryer, no way it will dry outside, if i could take it out even.
More later, after I have a chance to read and then work the puzzles.

Good morning all! MizT, I was going to put the pot on for you but you beat me to it! I hope your hip is feeling better today!
It is sunny, but cold this morning, 7*F. I think we are supposed to get more snow this weekend.
I saw the lunar eclipse last night. Right outside my bedroom window! Not a cloud in the sky, so it was very clear. Too cold to go out and take a picture though!
Hope you all are fine. Have a great day!

Thought I would look to see if Mizt was up and about. Hope the hip keeps improving. I have watched a totala ecipse of the moon a couple of times and it is quite spectacular seeing the moon turn orange. (Last nights one could not be seen in Australia)
I would love to observe a total eclipse of the sun. Still remember, in primary school, reading a story about it.
