Cyn, I hope your MIL rallies and I'm glad you and Col are well enough to go and visit her. Sending SA vibes through the cyber waves.... Hugs.
Vicki, I don't know about old age being the cause of the shoe problem. My kids do that kind of thing all of the time! Shaun deserves a medal I think.
Rolanda, if your son is kicked out of his room for visitors often enough he might revise his plans to stay until he can't stay any longer! I hope you have a wonderful time with your guests - I think I worked out that complicated explanation of where everyone would be. I'm glad you got some more sleep this morning, a day like you have planned would be tough with no sleep on top of it.
Nom Nom is chewing on my hand and my bracelet. She really does not like being alone...
It is cold, wet and windy here today. I think I should call the young man Three. Much easier than 'the young man'. Three is doing a St John's duty at a football day today, in this cold, wet and windy weather. I'm kind of proud of the initiative he is taking with getting things organised. I hope his parents are too.
I wrote this ages ago and forgot to submit..

SUZY, I agree, three is better than your young man every time we mention him.
ROLANDA, gld you got a bit more sleep this morning.
Tami, good on you offering to help Heidi get to 10000. To bad she was not around to enjoy.
Heidi, hope the soreness evaporates over night. It is exciting about your roof going on tomorrow.
Good night friends. I think it is time to get some sleep. I have been just a bit off today, maybe a bit more sleep will help. I am wondering if the fill in therapist over worked me yesterday. Hand has been more swollen than usual and more achey. I gently did exercises 2 times today instead of three. Sometimes you have to go with how the body feels.
See you all tomorrow.

Now where is that equation editor,
F=m*a and E=m*c*c,
so m=E/(c*c), therfore F=(E/(c*c))*a,
is that right?

Good afternoon all.
Went to see MIL - she looked awful when we got there but improved with a few visitors. As we left her husband, one daughter and one granddaughter arrived.l So hopefully she's cheered up. They are keeping her in for a few days until the fluid on her lungs is clear and then they'll send her home - not much else to do.
By the time we got home, Col wasn't feeling too good again. He's off to the doc tomorrow whether he likes it or not!!

Good news Rolanda.
Shaun has phoned me to say he got Mum safely on the plane. When he arrived home the local child care centre rang and wants him to start working there again at least 2 days a week . He hasn't heard from them since February. That's good news - at least he will have some money again.
Time to go home. I'll catch you all tomorrow.

Cyn, glad to hear your MIL perked up with her visitors. Good news that she will only be there a few days.
Send Col to the doctor - if it hasn't cleared up yet then he needs some sort of medication.

Hi my friends, just catching up after a couple of days.
Zusy, so happy the brother has returned.
Good to see you pop in Rena, Stella and Becky as well like old home week.
Zusy that young man is one special person, please tell him his Sudoku Aunts care about him if he won't think you have gone crazy!
Rolanda, wish I had some practical advice regarding your Mum. The only time I had a win was when I moved up to Queensland, she was already in a nursing home and still had me jumping through hoops. I told her that I had found the man that would make me as happy as my Dad made her. When her health failed later I flew down and was dumped at the nursing home to sleep on a fold out bed in her room but that is another story.
Cyn, hope your MIL, Col and you improve soon.
Dag, feel better soon too.
Heidi, bad=good hope you feel better in the morning.
Hehe! Zusy's been suckered by a kitten.

Cyn, visitors always help. I hope she rallies.

Warning: Kitty and Birdy anecdote
Thought you could all do with a giggle. Tip Tap finds Nom Nom a bit intimidating. The first night we introduced them he wouldn't even come into the same room. Baby on the other hand thinks Nom Nom is all kinds of fun. He will deliberately land on the ground right in front of her nose and then take off again. If Nom Nom doesn't react, he'll stay longer. He also swoops her and teases her endlessly! One time she wopped him half way across ther room, he just did it all again...

Three pushed the limits a little bit tonight. I don't think his mother would agree to do what I did. I nearly reacted the way I would have if it had been Ebob asking me, but decided a little indulgence might be in order....
I was at Bomo macas waiting for Ebob to finish TAFE so I could pick her up. My skim cappaccino had just been delivered... I felt like I had been driving all day - a common Thursday feeling and was looking forward to just sitting but then... a text comes through... would you mind giving a mate a ride to Bomo macas, I hate to ask but... I had my cappuccino transferred into a takeaway cup and drove back into town to pick up the mate - who was only 14 btw, another one with 'parents' - and on the way back to Bomo macas was conned into driving the extra couple of km to take him close to his actual home... felt like a total sucker!!!!!!!

That took ages to go through.
Lost big time at Bowls today. Our team is grade 3/4 and we played the top A grade team in our district. It was also cold and miserable so I cannot even say it was enjoyable.
Off on a bus trip tomorrow so that should be much better. Then I will get Laura again tomorrow night.

June - I feel that she needs to be assessed because her hubby at 81 is getting exhausted looking after her but neither will hear of it, the other siblings keep their heads in the sand, except the ones that live far away - so we fight a losing battle. Col and I have arranged for FIL to get the carers allowance, the Doc visits her at home weekly, pathology is done at their place, Blue Care clean her house once a week, they also bathe her 5 days/week and stay for FIL to have respite 3hrs /week. I leave it to Col to decide how far to push it. I've had enough dealing with my parents!! But it would be nice for him to get support from his siblings.

I'm feeling considerably better now. I love the epidurals that are so bad that I can barely walk afterwards. This was one of those. This one might even last 6 months! I am STILL going to take it very easy for a few more days. Don't wanna undo all the good.

Suzy... I'm kinda glad that Three is pushing the boundaries a little. I think it means that he's getting comfy around you, and he's exploring what the boundaries are. Rules and structure seem to be new to him, but he's got a good capacity to learn them. I feel that he's the only one in his family who is worth it.
