good morning Sudokuland. Today is forecast to be another hot one. My not so lovable hubby turned down? up? the AC last night. Anyhow, he changed the settings, temp on thermostat higher, fan lower. I wake and all the house but bedroom with it's seperate AC, is HOT. It will never catch up today. Guess we shall have to have another talk.

Cyn, it seems your in-laws get far more help there than they would get here. I am happy that is available to them. for example, Gov has decided that elderly only need baths 3x a week, and giving a them couple of wet ones (prepackaged moist towelettes) qualifies as a bath!!

Suzy, did you explain to Three that you are not a taxi service for his mates?? He does need to know the limits, and the sooner, the better. Nice words you offered dvD hehehe

Rolanda, glad your Mom got an all clear for another 6 months.

June, to bad you lost at bowls. Did you get warm once you got home? Enjoy your bus trip tomorrow. What is your destination??

Heidi, CxC is the same as C squared ( can't get the equation notations on my keyboard)

time for my breakfast, I will be back latter.

I am home from lunch. Camp is only about 5 minutes from my house so it is not hard to come home. When camp starts next week I only get 30 minutes so I will stay there. Today I have 1 hour so it was worth coming home.

MizT, hope your birthday tomorrow is terrific and you get spoiled!

Suzy, looks like your house has a new ruler. It doesn't take long for little fur balls to worm their way into your hearts.

Off for my "squishy" appointment in a little while. Just enough time to grab a bite and then jump in the shower. TTFN.

It got too hot, so the guys quit already. The wood is up, but they didn't get the tar paper on. NO rain is forecast for several days.

Back from my appointment and the "girls" are sore. If the test needs to be redone I will hear early next week.

My daughter tore and sprained something in her upper thigh of the right leg and is currently trying to learn crutches. I have a feeling the next week is going to leave me very frazzled.

TTFN.

Happy Birthday MizT!! I hope you have a great, pain free one!! And hopefully the air conditioning won't be adjusted so that it will also be a cool one.

Thanks Suzy, I hope not too.

However, my daughter is another story. Her husband took the girls to a school thingie and my daughter is on the couch unable to move. I have already been there once to get her a drink and once to let the dog out. Tomorrow will prove to be very difficult ... my daughter has some medical problems and is a very needy person at the best of times. I love her dearly, but she can tire me out.

Theresa - hope all will be well with your squishy appointment. I received my notice last week to say mine was clear. Always a phewww moment. And I hope you daughter recovers from her sprain quickly enough for you not to get too tired and frazzled.
Heidi - glad the epidural seemed like a good one!
Blank mind - what else did I read? Back later.

Hi Theresa - I'm fine, thanks - but he's still a bit giddy and nauseous. Trying to get him to the doctor. He's a stubborn man when he wants to be.

Funny story, I hope you can keep track of the players.

Today was my first day at camp. Everyone else received their camp assignments yesterday except me. Mitchell told he where I was but I did not believe him. I have been moved to one of the older groups "Camp Cougars" ( can I call myself a cougar) I am the site supervisor (head counselor). I have several counselors under me as well as 3 volunteers (cit's) Mitchell is one of my volunteers, so I am my son's boss. Mitchell also told me that one of his teachers from this past year is working at our camp and he is my #2 counselor. So now Mitchell is working for his mom and his teacher. Like I said, I did not believer Mitchell. I had to find out for myself. Even his teacher said it is a little strange to have one of his students working with (for) him. It is going to be a strange summer. This is also the only teacher I have not met before. The day I had a parent conference he was out sick. I happen to like the rest of my counselors and I think it will be a fun summer. Did I mention that I have the same basic group of kids that I had last year

Just lost my 4th post of the day. You'd think I'd quit!! Or at least remember to save them before submitting. Sigh.

Tami, you're the big boss!! Congratulations - I think... Mitchell is probably used to you being the one to boss him around, but his teacher on the other hand... That would be a weird feeling.

Theresa, you are planning on staying up alnight after the day you've had? Yep, you will definitely need sanity breaks! I'll keep checking in to see if you are around - if my connection lets me. I actually have a day at home today! Of course that means I have to run the swishy thing etc, but that is actually a relief after this week.

Saving before I hit submit....

I ran the swishy thing this morning, so I'm good for a few days.

Sunday we'll be going to my in-laws for Father's Day. We'll be leaving to go there earlier than usual so we can help out. So I'm trying to get the usual weekend stuff done before then.

Suzy, this is the third year that I am the head counselor. I am only in charge of one group. I have 47 campers, 4 other counselors and 3 volunteers under me. I really like the counselors this year. Every one of them has a talent to share with the kids. My second in charge, Mitchell's teacher is very athletic. I have a cheerleader, a party planner and an indoor activities coordinator. Everyone is in charge of something so all I have to do is just make sure we all have fun. For the first time I have counselors that want to share and work together. I hope this lasts for the summer.

Tami... Mitchell's teacher will probably understand Mitchell a LOT better after getting to know you this summer. And this will be a great experience for Mitchell, too. He'll get to see things from the adult perspective.

You MAY want to keep a close eye on Nom Nom around Tip Tap and Baby. Her interest in the birds already could show a hunting instinct. If the Budgies are loose, they need to be supervised.

Heidi, PCs have copy and paste too, I just find the keyboard faster. I started with DOS which was all keyboard and I guess it stuck.

I don't really want the topp btw...

We've already decided that once Nom Nom is big enough to actually catch Baby when he decides to swoop her we'll start locking her in another room when it's the birds' turn to have an adventure. Could you imagine how awful it would be if she caught him???? Now if I could just train her to catch those awful pest birds while leaving the natives and pets alone she would be a perfect cat...
