That is right Suzy, she just bangs away at the keys. I sometimes get Emails from her. I think she will be ready to start school next year.

My very best wishes to you all. Sounds like we have all got something or a relative who is not doing well. Col sent his dizzies down here to me...awful feeling!
I haven't had an update on Aunty June today, but as we all know, no news is good news.
Cyn, thoughts to you, Col and his mother.
Rolanda, hugs
Heidi, hope it's a bad epi!

I'm hoping for a bad one, too.

I have another worry. I didn't get much sleep last night. My face, where I had the apico, is hurting again, and starting to swell a little. I REALLY hope I don't need another one. Some 20 years ago, I had to have an apico... it didn't work... and I had to have a second one to remove more diseased bone a month later. I hope history is not repeating itself.

Hope you have a bad day Heidi. Anyplace else the previous sentence would not make any sense. :)

Can only read part of the posts so I will be back later when I can read and answer easier.

Well, the weather man just said there's a good chance of thunderstorms later this afternoon. Today is the day I pick up the grandies at the bus stop after school ... we all know how much I love thunderstorms (NOT). Out in a storm with an umbrella?????

Morning all!
Quick visit this morning I think. The young man has a St John's duty at 8.30 so I figure I might as well stay in town for my haircut. Boy do I need a haircut! I don't think I've let it grow this long ever!! Not impressed to realise I've taken on more of pushing the hot, slidy thing...

2pm I pick him up to take him to an appointment, so I might as well stay in town again then and pick up Ally from school. Sigh. Then it's the run to Taekwondo and TAFE and Taekwondo again. I wonder what time the young man's appointment finishes? Hmm.

Heidi, glad it was a bad one.

Theresa, no umbrellas in a storm so I bet you end/ended up wet and cold. Yuck. I hope the grandies are in a good mood today.

Gail, feel better!! No news is good news...

Sending thoughts and wishes to all of the ill people, and all of the ill family members. Hugs to everyone!!!

Good morning all!
I had to run around yesterday and after work go and collect my mother so she could stay at our place last night. Shaun will take her to the airport today. She has flown before but doesn't like it so you have to stay with her to keep her there and calm her down. Good luck Shaun!

I hope everyone is feeling better - Cyn, Col and Gail.
Heidi, I'm glad it was a really bad epidural.
Suzy, hang in there. Before you know it they will be driving themselves to all these places.
Theresa, I hope the storm holds off until after the bus arrives.
Rolanda, what can I say other than I understand your pain.
Time to get into it again. (big sigh). Another day another dollar.

Typing one handed. Nom Nom is lying in my arms, on her back, purring like a train, watching the wind out of the window. Spoiled brat!

Suzy, do your self, and the boy, a favor and teach him to push the hot, slidy thing. It sounds like no one taught him any of the basics of anything and that is important for him to learn.
Heidi, glad to hear that it was a bad day for you Hope you get relief soon.

Morning all.
Not staying around long. MIL still not too good so we're off to see her today. There's not much they can do for her, so it depends on whether she rallies. Col's brothers are coming down on the weekend - one lives in Mackay and one in Hervey Bay, just in case. The others (another brother and 2 sisters) live closer.
Col and I are much better today, fortunately if I had the same as Col, it wasn't as severe.
Ciao for now.

Victoria, sorry to hear about your mom forgetting her shoe. I can easily picture it happening.
Cyn, thoughts are with you at this time.
Rolanda, enjoy your cousins. Hope you have a great time.
Going to bed early tonight. I am still coughing even though I am on medicine. I hope this ends soon.

I had a good rest, but the back is still sore. It will be for a few days.

Tomorrow morning, they start putting the roof on the sunroom!!! They plan on starting work at 7 am, to avoid the heat. I'm really excited!

Heidi, the sunroom sounds like it is coming along quickly. I'm looking forward to the pictures.

I've taken the shoes over. I had to meet them at McDonalds. I sat in the carpark watching every car entering. After 20 minutes my phone rang. Shaun wanted to know where I was. They had been sitting inside watching for me. Double bugger!! What a waste of time. I handed over the shoes and grabbed a take away coffe and headed back to work. Shaun had that look on his face that said he was trying really had to be patient. That boy deserves a treat tonight!!

They've got extra help coming for tomorrow. They'll have 4 workers instead of 2, to lift the 3/4 inch plywood up there.
