eaa... I'm so glad that they've set up another site for tumor free Devils. It's a good idea not to have all their eggs in one basket.

I quit cold turkey, I will admit that I was a social smoker for a few years after that, drink in one hand, ciggie in the other, but eventually I realised that I didn't even want the social one any more. It's been at least 14 years since I last had a smoke at all (we moved to Melbourne in 97 and I haven't had one here), and the official giving up (pre-social) was thirty years ago...holy crap I'm old!

It's OK, Suzy. I have a poor sense of smell. I don't smell a thing over the 'pooter.

It's 35C/95F here right now and about 30% humidity. The humidity is actually low compared to the last few weeks, but I'm still miserable!

I've just given Alie 1 hour to make a significant difference in her room or I'd be cleaning it for her - her worst nightmare for some reason.

Suzy, that's because you might "find" something in her room that she doesn't want you to see. All teenagers have their secrets.

Temp is now 36 - and I don't think the place Alie has her class this afternoon is air conditioned. I might pop over to the library while she is there.

Just heard a can rattle on my mud room floor - thought, 'don't tell me we have mice again', gave the can a bit of a roll with my foot and out popped a lizard, briefly at least, he ran right back inside! Cute!

You're wondering why there is a can on my mud room floor - it's called kids and pets!

Spent a few hours of my stay on Dag's front deck smoking, got to know the birds pretty well.

Checking in without reading, busy day here today. BIL brought his camper trailer down and left it, in case he needs to come later and help care for AL. Al is beginning to have some problems from the radiation, throat sore, not able to eat. I made his dinner into soup in the blender, so it was easier to swallow. lunch was a milk shake, He got most of his liquid through feeding tube today. also beginning to feel weak, he tried changing out a battery in his auto yesterday and still tired today. We knew it was coming, just hoping it could be later in his 6 weeks than now. this is what you do to kill cancer and we will just keep doing it.

He did say he thinks he can drive himself tomorrow, we will see. I am still having fatigue and shortness of breath, he does not realize he needs to give me more than a couple hours notice if he cannot drive but will go if I have to and deal with the tired later.

Hope to get on here more tomorrow, hugs to all with extras and hope all are well and happy.
