I've got a fun canary observation. Both new girls seem to be attracted to the blue and white male canary. They're snuggling up to him, each on one side. That's funny because his late mate hated him. She loved laying eggs and sitting on them (to the exclusion of all else including eating or drinking) but they were all infertile. I do hope one of the girls does decide to attach herself to the other male.

He's in room 4112. Phone # ((I'll PM it)). The nurse came in right as Tricia called, so don't know much. She didn't know what if anything more they'd be doing tonight. He's still coughing up blood, unfortunately.
I'll let you know more again when I hear from her. May be tomorrow.

Gekko, Everyone! I've been thinking of all of you today.
Hi, Suzy, June, Theresa and Tami (page 545 - and we're getting closer to our goal)!
Suzy, does Alie live a charmed life? It's amazing - 2 dance studies and pride and no conflicts so far? Well done!
June, I'm glad you were able to have a well-deserved girls' day out. I hope you came home feeling refreshed! Have a great day! Thinking positive thoughts for you, your family, and your friend! I hope there are no lingering issues from your fall! Take care of yourself!
MizT, I hope running away helped to "recharge your batteries!" I wish I could arrange a full week - or at least a few days of R & R for you!
Hey, that's a great idea! I wish we could arrange a full week of R & R for all the Sudokuaholics! Here's our chance to dream: Tami's brownies (but she doesn't have to make them), blintzes for Heidi, sunny weather with light warm breezes and temperature about 78-80 degrees F (25.5-26.5 degrees C), grandies and hubbies only allowed if they are happy and well-behaved, days full of fun and nights with at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Join in with your ideas!
Theresa and Tami, how funny that we both thought of a different kind of huntsman!
Theresa, you and I both wondered what would warrant an entire case of blintzes!
Friends, does it surprise you when you find each other thinking the same thing/responding in the same way to things on this page?

On to page 546: Hi, Tami, Theresa, Nola, Brenda, Heidi, Gail, Judy, Rolanda, Suzy and eaa!
Theresa, I'm so glad that all went well with getting the grandies ready for school! Too bad that you had to get chilled to the bone! Does a cup of coffee or soup help to warm you?
Speaking of school - well, studying - Nola, we're always glad to see you, even a quick pop in between assignments! I hope all is going well! Did the nursing textbook you were waiting for finally arrive? I hope all of your assignments are going well!
Happy Birthday, Heidi!
Should I say that I hope you had a yummy cake
- or that you enjoyed your case of blintzes? (Theresa, I think the mystery has been solved!) Maybe you even got some flowers
for your special day! (Or is that hoping for too much?) I hope it was a great day! Happy Birthday!
Brenda, thanks for the reminder! I rarely remember to read the notice of who is having a birthday.
Hooray, Heidi has the new canaries and they're beautiful! Unfortunately, the blintzes were a bust - leave it to IH to find bad blintzes. You definitely need to treat yourself to the good ones from Ohio, Heidi, especially if you eat the whole case that he gave you! Hopefully, he will help you finish them off! Mr. Google's search tells me that Tyson makes "Lady Aster" gourmet blintzes and crepes that are hand rolled. I'm so sorry they don't taste good.
Mr. Google also tells me that "Jungle Jim's International Market, formerly Jungle Jim's Farmer's Market, is a large supermarket in Fairfield, Ohio, near Cincinnati. It has been described as a theme park of food." Come on, Ladies, "Road Trip!"
Heidi, I hope you will be able to go to the Indian restaurant on Friday with your neighbors/friends!

Heidi, I am SO glad you get Al updates from Tricia's sister! I just wish they carried happier news! They sure have had more than their share of difficulty!
MizT, sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and Al! I hope he fights off the pneumonia as well this time as he did last time! {{{{HUGS}}}} and much
Heidi, I am so sorry to hear about Gil's aunt! Luckily he had seen her recently! Will he be going to the funeral? (I'm assuming you won't be able to get away, especially with calving so near.) Maybe it's a good thing he decided against going to the plant.
Rolanda, I hope the dentist appointment went well - and the dentist was actually there this time! (Hubby and I had our appointments on Monday.)
I have just visited with Mr. Google again. eaa's 720 kg of food for the devils is over 1500 pounds! How many freezers do you have, eaa? Does anyone else help supply food? I certainly hope so!

Just past 1 a.m. and I'm finally getting to page 547: Hi, eaa, Rolanda, Heidi, Suzy, Suzanne and Vicki!
eaa, how many devils are in the refuge? I'm amazed at how much food you provide for them!
Heidi, please keep us updated on the canaries. I certainly hope one of the girls becomes interested in the lone male! Might he be infertile? I have no idea what attracts canaries, but I bet you do! Another opportunity to learn something new, I'd guess.
Suzanne, I hope your allergies will be better soon!
Heidi, thank you for the update on Al and his room number!
Suzy, how could I have forgotten nana naps?
It's interesting that the only schedule conflict you have found so far in Alie's schedule is Pride and Pride! How did they schedule conflicting performances? Or is it a rehearsal and a performance? You and your girls are going to be incredibly busy this semester, Suzy!!
The clock keeps ticking here, so I better call it a night! Good Night to everyone! I hope tomorrow will be a better day for all of you! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, positive thoughts,
and prayers for everyone! Special thoughts for those needing medical interventions! Get better! Get well! Heal!
And now, Good Night!

Julie, one is a performance with a dance school that they do every year, the other is a performance for people with a disability that they also do every year... they just happened to fall on the same night this year and I'm not sure which one they will go to, though the disability one appeals to me more - seeing their faces last year was beautiful!

Having said that, one of the women at the disability dinner dance last year was extremely rude to Pride (before they performed, sweet as pie afterwards) so I bet we do the other one.

Hi everyone, I just heard from Lee/Qld, who's birthday it is today. She was introduced to SA by Mary, also a past poster. I asked after Mary and she gave quite an account of what has been going on with Mary. She had both knees replaced last year and of course got a dreaded infection which kept her in hospital for 6 weeks! She is rehabing now, but slowly. I told her you would all be sending best wishes for healing.

Gekko all. Slept the entire morning away. IH did the morning cow check a few minutes ago and told me a cow was off by herself. I'll have to get dressed, bundled up, and go check on her. It's still well below freezing and there are several inches of snow on the ground.
It's still better than calving in the mud. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last cold day, then a warm up into the 50's for at least a week, with nothin' but sunny weather.

He's been moved again. Now phone # is 628-7125 - Sorry I didn't get the room number.
David & I took Tricia home so she could get some sleep. She had riden up with Roger when they took Al to ER. Roger is now back staying with Al today, so that Tricia could go home & sleep. Please don't call Tricia today. She really needs the sleep. She is planning on being back at the hospital tonight.
Tricia says Al is resting better & quit coughing up blood sometime this morning. She had not seen a doctor when she left, so that's all we know at this time.
More when I hear.
